Ok. I disagree with most being said here.
Dhoni, I feel, is very talented with the bat. He doesn't, however, seem to me the type who can bat for a whole day or so. Is keeping I felt early on was average, but he has improved a lot in the CT and in RSA, and I am very impressed. He is great for the team in the ODI arena - quick runs and flexibility. His keeping has also improved too, and he shows great teamwork and work ethics. He deserves a spot in the WC. If he takes care of his batting and develops a more quiet temperment -something I think might come with experience- then he can become a legendary batsman. As for his test spot, well, everyone knows how I feel

And seeing DDK's performance today, well, that just sums up my arguement quite nicely. All he needs is a fabulous catch or stumping, then I can consider myself smarter than the Indian selectors
And just a side note on Afridi - He is a great hitter, probably doesn't use his talent as well as he can, but recently, his performances in domestic cricket shows that he wants to bat for longer. He isn't brainless, has one of the finest cricketing minds acually, but is a showman who treats batting as a fun thing, treats cricket as it is, a game. He wants to entertain.
Glad I got that off my chest
