My First ODI in BLIC 2007

Well guys, Bangladesh is shocking everyone with an amazing performance in the ICC World Cup 2007.After they have defeated India and South Africa they are taking on England today.I decided to try out my newly purchased BLIC 2007 by playing a custom ODI with the exact teams and players and also at the real venue,Barbados,West Indies.It was quite a thrilling experience as if I was actually present there watching the match.
I played the match in County settings as Test mode was too difficult to play.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field. Masrafe and Rasel opened the bowling for Bds and was hammered all over the place by the English openers Bell & Vaughan.Soon Eng(AI) started losing wickets! First to go was Bell bowled by Rasel's incutter but the AI kept playing attacking shots and were all out in just 21.0 overs making a low scoring total of 159.

One funny thing I noticed was when Vaughan was bowled by Masrafe.As he was leaving his crease in despair,in the background the stumps were all intact !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bds openers could not last long against the Eng opening bowlers,Mahmood and Panesar(!!!) but a strong partnership between captain Basher and Ashraful saw them through.The AI didnt seem to change bowlers up to the14th over and by the time Anderson was introduced it was too late. Bds finished at 160-5 in 21.1 overs.

Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy a full 50 Over game but will definitely try and use the Player Editor next time to make the game more realistic.

fake ??? well,check the scorecard dude. why will i lie ??? i enjoyed playing it every bit.

No fake as in, not realistic. I wouldn't like a game like that!

while reading exprezzo, i felt that as if i was playing it and enjoying it. nothing fake there.

Even in real cricket this happens may be less total then this, you must have seen this happened with big teams in this year's world cup. But surely not within 22 overs. Any thing can happen in cricket world. And as everyone knows how shocking Bangladesh is so that's what happened in exprezzo's match.

i think sometimes we become too critical,afterall it's just a video game.it can never be as good as the real game.for that you have to get out of the house and get into the field.
