What? it's just a story about a person named Napoleon Einstein whose name is coincidentally the same as an Indian Cricketeri

There are 1 billion people in India, so even if the chances are 1 in a million, that means there are 1000 Napoleon Einsteins :laugh

Joining Mangalore

The Park was massive, probably one of the more larger fields in India, the training nets were like 1km away. As I walked to the park, I saw various players pass me, ashamed to say that I had never seen any of them play cricket before, how poor could this club be? As I reached the training nets, someone approached me, assuming it was the manager, I said,

Hey Arjun, i'm Napoleon, you called me yesterday
Ofcourse, so Napoleon lets get started, I reckon you should pad up!

I dropped my kit and began to get ready, I wasn't really sure what to expect, how good are these guy? Obviously not as good as Tamil Nadu, but you never know. I got up and walked towards the nets, the first bowler came in, he didn't look very happy... He bowled straight on the stumps with a full toss and I smacked it high through the ground,

Good shot yaar
Thanks
100% six!
Alright...

His ball was rather slower than I expected, I realised he was either a medium or fast pace but i'm not sure if i could call it that, maybe slow - medium would be the right word. The next bowler was ready, he looked rather excited but i could see the concentration in his eyes. He bowled a full ball towards the offside and I decided to sweep it, I heard a noise and I looked back to see my stumps had fallen! I underestimated the guy! He swung the ball all the way to middle stump, dang I was embarrassed! He walked towards me and brought out his hand,

Hey, I'm Kiran
Hi Kiran, i'm Napoleon, you've probably heard about me
Yeah, Arjun had a meeting about a new player comin in, you know, you really shouldn't underestimate us, Some of us are of course not all of us are stars like me but we aren't the worst, ya know?
Yeah I understand thanks
No problem, get ready for the next one!

He smiled and walked off. For the rest of the training session I kept full concentration, no matter what the bowler looked like or the expression he gave me, I decided to try my best, even if I knew they were crap. As training ended, Arjun called everyone together,

Great job guys, nice training, I can see where we need improvement for this season, Great bowling as usual Kiran, Bharath, you really need to get in there and concentrate harder, you have to guide the team
Yes sir, will I be captaining again?
I'll get to that... Napoleon, where are you
Here sir
Great job Napoleon, I can already see that you're all geared up and ready to roll, our next match is in 10 days and in that time boys, we're going through some heavy training! For now you can all head along back home, i'll see you all in 3 days for our next training session! Napoleon, just hang back with me.
Sir
Great job Napoleon, I can see, you're just the player we need, i'll be watching you carefully for the next session, definitely need to check you out with the ball, head along now
Thanks sir, it's great to be here, thanks for the opportunity
No problem son

I jogged back to the benches where everyone was carefully watching and having drinks, I decided that it'd be better if I didn't talk to anyone for today, those bowlers didn't look to happy anyway. I headed out of the park to the bus stop, everyone waved and went off.
