Sorry for the noob questions @Aislabie but from what I understand, apart from the 15 players, I am also supposed to pick 3 more players from unpicked lot of other squads.

So I will be picking my eleven from these 18 players right? Can these be the same players across formats? And is picking 5 bowlers in test matches mandatory or can I pick 6 bats and 4 bowlers?

That's the best part of this draft.. you don't have to be realistic as to what contact you give to whom.. you can give the best contract to the worst player (irl) but for the purpose of this game he'll be the best player

As long as you pick a balanced team in terms of batsmen, bowlers and wicket keeper.. you should be fine

Yep. You need to have exactly as many players from a particular contract as stated:

I'm absolutely amazed by the uptake for this league; that's 17 of the 18 counties with managers (paging @El Loco for the 18th) and 13 of those 17 with squads. I'm humbled by how quickly this has happened and can't wait for those last bits to be sorted so we can get some matches going.

I reckon everyone is just appreciative of having something to do at the moment pal. It's great work.

I was talking about the Playing Eleven.

I have 5 players on E contract in the squad, plus another 2 on E contract if I go with the first option for the remaining 3 players (1 x A and 2 x E). That makes it 7 E players in the squad of 18.

So when I am picking my Playing Eleven for a game, do I have the option to ignore all these 7 players on E contract and pick the remaining 11? Or is it compulsory to have E contract players in the starting eleven?

Yeah you can pick whoever you want in your playing XI
