OMG ! This disappointed me !
Fat Players , OK I know that the Indian cricketers are not the fittest but I don`t think Agarkar looks as fat in real life and I thought all the players were of the same height ! The mo-caps though better that cricket 2004 still leaves a lot to be deserved . Commentary --------------> :help ! Absolute crap ! How can a company which prides itself on making the best Sports games hav th same commentary for 3 consecutive editions of a game especially when it is not great !
Then , the shots played ! The left-hander who was out to Agarkar in the video played a coverdricve to a leg side ball !!!
God save EA C2k5 !

i know it's your choice...but why buy a game for graphics, if it has crap gameplay you will play the game for a week then won't touch it again...

Honestly, i really liked cricket 2004, i would still be playing it, if the bloody game stopped crashing every 10 minutes (no joke) BTW, did this happen to any1 else? Like as frequent as 10 minutes. I dont know whats wrong, my computer requirements fully exceed the requirements to play the game. Maybe it was a virus or something...Can any1 help me out on this issue?
Anyways, the computer is fixed right now, and i cant play any games on it until my exams finish later this month...so i still dont know if it will keep on crashing...

...And the graphics in cricket2004 were cra p. Im not "too" picky about gameplay, but cricket 2005 looks like it might be fun to play....to me atleast. I'll buy BLIC also, but i'll most probably end up playing the EA game alot more.
BLIC looks like its moving too fast, and the bowlers dont look to realistic....The wrong name and wrong kits are definitly a huge issue for me, as I have no time to sit and edit every bloody name.

Oh and another thing, this past weekend I made 107 not out, off 89 balls!!! My best innings to date. My previous best was 99 off 95 balls

I also ended up getting 2 wickets with my slow arm off-break. In the 4 overs i bowled, i got smacked for 31 :help

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the CPU bowling. It looks to me as if someone at EA may be doing the batting.

I think the circle around the batsman is some sort of marker which will make it harder to predict where the ball will end up. Once the circle disappears you move it to where you want it (the batsman won't be able to see where you are moving it to)

ea needs to change its commentators then come back
but at least ea has an advance shot! and real player names!i think rubbergenius said that you wouldnt be able to change the names for blic. that they'd be called the bowler/the batsman, etc. so i dont think that you can change the names. also, even if they can, will every1 waste their time changing hundreds of names and kits!
this ea version doesnt seem as bad, it could be an old version, but i'll get ea 2005 cause quite frankly, i want some realism in it, and i have no time to waste. even if the gameplay isn't as good, thats where patches come in.

Just looks like a polished up version of Cricket 2004. Same crap commentary, same crap animations, still a white sightscreen in ODIs.

BLIC wins easily. Much more fluid and realistic animations, more realistic looking players.

Anyone who chooses EA over BLIC after watching both videos must be crazy.

Judging by the vid all they have done is gave it a graphics boost nothing else,we can only hope thats this is an early beta of the game if not all we have here is EA Cricket 2004 boosted up graphics unfortunatley.Oh well theres always next year i spose

another thing the is the bowler always gives the batsmen a stare after every delivery. it only should be once or twice imo

bowlers: do not like their action, and are way to slow

batsmen: i think batsmen were playing silly strokes when the ball was pitched up in a number of occasions they tried to cut the ball instead of driving it

OMG, first impressions after watching the video is what a shocker

-same default fields that have been in place for years. Still no fine leg or third man meaning easy scoring opportunities in ODI's. And the defaults are so unrealistic
-commentary enough said
-bowlers action - looks horrible
-same batting animations
-game looks very slow in pace
-Presentation of players playing in the match. Looks horrible. Why not have their bat/bowl/all displayed after the name instead of before
-same old sky line used for replays of LBW's
-white side screens in ODI's


Will bet my bottom dollar there's been hardly any improvement in AI and would be the slightest bit surprised if the same old pacing files were used.

How can you play a game with crap gameplay? Or are you just going to admire the graphics Zreh?
BLIC looks far more realistic, commentary, bowler movements, ball dynamics, the coin toss at the start........

Remember....you can't polish a turd!
