Its very unrealistic when CPU plays backfoot power shot and ball lands out
of the ground, Specially in 20 over match, now we can beat cpu, I have just
discover how easy it is to play sweep shot in fast bowlers. If your timing is
good, you can get 6 in ever sweep shot u play. Play this shot when ball pitch
on off or middle stumps. The major benifit about playing this shot is, that
even if you mistime it, ball will fall in no man's land", but if you play the shot
when ball pitches on or outside leg stump, chances are of gettting out in fine
leg. So its better to play whn ball is on off or middle stumps, and little away
from the batsman, i;e, 3-5 feet away. I have tasted this shot with BOSS's
field settings. Do reply me friends, and give me some tips tooo.

Nice trick but doesn't it take the fun out of the game and make it look really unrealistic?

And I agree that it is annoying to see the CPU backfoot drive you for 6. But doesn't it make it all the more rewarding when you beat them?

Well guys, it does'nt make the game unrealistic, the shot which cpu plays for 6 in extra
cover is unrealistic, but as i said about the sweep shot in fast bowler, its not that
unrealistic, many player used it in county matches, H. Gibbs is very good example,
he played many such shot in recent VB series, only strange thing is, there is little diff,
in playing such shot in real cricket, in real cricket,(RH) batsman does;nt play sweep shot putting his right knee on ground, coz of less time, whereas in this game, sweep shot played(animation) is same in fast bowler and spin bowler, I think this should be new shot which EA crk2006 introduced(which Gibbs plays). This is the reason why you
guys feel its unrealistic, but its very close to whats happening in international cricket,
and after all its game, friends, thoda to diff. hoga. is;nt it?

Yeah, I had a go at playing that shot and I could pull it off quite well. Works best as you say in a 20 over match, but I am resisting to play it all the time because getting 6 every ball doesn't create as much fun.
I try to play a realistic game most of the time - that's also the reason why I download 'realistic' patches. I don't want to post a score that the chasing team won't reach.

I played a game today after having the game covered in dust for a long time. After the match I got all out for 219 Afridi getting 148* off 107 rest collapsing!
I found out that none of my players played a shot at off side!!!
I need to fix that, I didn't notice that! And bowling is so easy even on hard!
I have to install patches!
