New Zealand Premier League XIII

I'm not a big fan of having vCash involved in the trading.
It'll just make the teams unfair, if one owner decides vCash is a lot more important than having a good team.

If you want a certain player, you just got to offer up the right trade.
E.g. I'm guessing that you want both McCullum and Bond, which fairly enough probably isn't going to happen.

Well there is nothing wrong with trying? :p
We have been a quality NZ batsman short, and the only way I can get him is by trading with another of my quality NZ bowlers. If I do that I am gonna be screwed in the bowling dept. next season.

Yeah, that's why I don't really want people making vCash trades, as some will end up with heaps of world class players, while others will end up with none.

I'm contemplating allowing people to make one or two vCash trades, but I'll need to speak with some V.I.P's first... :sarcasm

You could limit the no. of vCash involved. This may be an idea though. I dont have an unlimited supply of vCash, but the fact of the matter is, it is unlikely anyone will take the players that I am willing to offer. vCash would be the only reason teams would like to trade with me.

Also all leagues need teams that get whipped and teams that whip others. I hope i get to be the latter

Also you could fire those that have immensely weakened the squad, although thats not likely to happen. No one always likes to lose

Why do you want McCullum then??? :p
In the 11 matches he played in, he only averaged 26.7, at a S/R of 66...
He is actually rated better than that though.

Yeah but he is local. That counts. Plus what other options do I have?? :p
Also the good thing is that he can keep as well, which has been a sort of a problem. Our first term keeper, Hopkins, bats behing Albie Morkel :facepalm

Furthermore, the Warriors owner is willing to negotiate a McCullum transfer. I might go for Taylor but that is gonna cost me and it is very unlikely that a deal is made. Broom and Elliot are another bunch of players that I am interested in. Your thoughts?

The likes of Taylor and Elliot have been among the top batsmen for their sides this season, so their respective owners probably won't be looking to trade them.
Again Broom has been pretty consistent for hedger as well, so I'm not sure if he'll be willing to trade him, but you do have AB and Anderson.

What are your guys thoughts on having only four international players in the season three line-ups, compared to five like it was this season???

Yeah, but Hedger was willing to give me Elliot for AB. I was hesistant. Guess at the end of the day both of us were pleased.

4 International arent that bad, but the local players will need to step up. Also the squad size should definetly be increased to 18. The replacements for potential injuries have to make us come up with a different combination.

It's hard when rating the players, as I don't want to stick the local domestic players too high, as then they'll come out and blaze apart the best international bowlers, at the same time I want them to do alright.
I'm still trying to find the right balance between, international players, current international New Zealanders, former international New Zealanders, and domestic New Zealanders.

I posted this before, but you might of missed it:

* Your squad size will get increased to 18 players.
* A few of your players will leave your team, if they haven't received enough game time during season two.
* You'll then have a chance to release any amount of your players, or you may choose to keep all of them.
* After that there will be a small draft, filling all the remaining places in the teams.
* That will be followed by a transfer window, that I'm still undecided if I'll allow vCash or not.

Yeah. Broom has been good for me this season and Elliott was good. I don't think I'll trade him. I would pay you a lot for de Villiers BKB.

If the amount is going down a more up to date list of current NZ players etc. would be needed. I think it's needed regardless really.

I think it's rigged haha. Both the first game winners lose the second game for a third final haha. Oh well, at least I didn't get whitewashed and now it's all down to 1 match.

I done this list before the summer in NZ started, so players who have made their mark this summer are yet to be added. I'll definitely be adding most of the NZ players who played in the HRV cup.

Here's my list ATM, please feel free to mention any names you'd like to see on there:

With New Zealand Domestic cricket, it's hard as theres not enough good players that are good enough to make the starting XI so I think it should stay at 5 for the time being.

well it is called the new zealand premier league so i would agree on decreasing the amount to 4.:)
