This has just highlighted how bad SA cricket actually is, I reckon 3/4 of these players shouldnt be playing for us. My ideal line up is:

Amla
De Kock/ Van Wyk (for this series van Wyk as de Kock was out of form but 9/10 times de Kock)
Faf
Rossouw
Ab
Duminy/ Miller
Mclaren
Philander
Morklel
Steyn
Tahir

Okay, Faf, Duminy and Morkel are injured, but I wouldnt put in Wiese or Behardien (though he did bat well). Wiese isnt a good enough bowler to be the third/fouth seamer and really his batting isnt to good either. I would put Puttick for Faf (even if it isnt long term, the man scored so many runs yet he is ignored, he could be our Rogers), Teunis de Bruyn, Dean Elgar or Miller for Duminy and Rabada for Morkel (Ideally I'd put Paterson but thats more favoritism). So for today I would have

Puttick
Miller
McLaren
Philander
Phangiso/Leie/Piedt (as we wanted 2 spinners)

Honestly sometimes our selections just leave me in shock. The sooner all this colour quota stuff goes the better...

Bracewell and Milne bowled really well The running and fielding from SA was pretty poor though

Philander continues to be preferred to Abbott. No wonder SA never win the big one. Steyn, Morkel, Abbott and Rabada are all better bowlers than Philander in ODI's and T20's. The only place Philander can bowl is Eng, SA and NZ in a test match with overheads.
