England wants to play all formats in T20's mode.

Honestly, didn’t expect the Baz effect to kick in so soon

It's very impressive. Obviously there'll be a bit of a honeymoon period, but this Test in particular just had McCullum written all over it.

After conceding 550 in the first innings, England went out and batted for the win. After the first three days of the Test only brought 15 wickets, England went out and batted for the win. After being set nearly 300 in two and a bit sessions, England went out and batted for the win.

There's perhaps some work that can be done on bowling tactics - the bouncer barrages still happen far too often, but that was something both teams were guilty of. And this is by no mean's England's be-all-and-end-all eleven, and that's pretty cool. There's still plenty of room for improvement.

But this has made me feel something pretty new: I'm excited to watch England play Test cricket.
