Yeah, Potts' bowling was absolutely nothing special. 81 mph up and down with a scrambled seam. There are dozens of English players who could do what he did in similarly favourable circumstances.

But he still had to go out and do it, and full credit to him for that.

Yeah, I think Overton was probably unlucky especially as he can bat a bit. I reckon they wanted to make some kind of change rather than basically picking an XI from the players that have all been part of the 18 months that preceded the Red Ball Reset™.
 
Was Robinson supposed to miss this series or is it just the recent injury he suffered?

Yeah it's not a popular thing to say but Overton is still a better bowler than Potts
