Fleming is the new Mark Waugh :)

Go the Kiwis (never thought I'd say that)
Once an aussie, always an aussie. :p

But I have to accept Mark Waugh was a God in the slips.

The Kiwis are on top here.

England begin to frustrate New Zealand

Simon Jones and Ian Bell are starting to frustrate the New Zealand Bowlers

A few missed catches from New Zealand have helped Ian Bell and Simon Jones to help England towards 300

England 275/7

What a fabulous day of the test series. 11 wickets fell on the first day. Good bowling from New Zealand to restrict England to Under 300 and a quick break through for England to claim one New Zealand Wicket

Join us tomorrow for the Day 2

im getting the feeling there arent many edges thru to the keeper in this game.

theres loads in RPC even when the ball is old
if there is an EA 2006 that's what id like to see...more keeper edges

neway top story

Astle & Fleming Punish Englands Attack

New Zealand 160/1 After 38 Overs Lunch Day 2

Fleming 84*
Astle 60*

Astle and Fleming have played Englands bowling attack with ease. Both batman are playing a steady pace. 130 runs have been scored in the morning session itself.

Englands bowling has not been good not to mention two close calls for LBW.

Fleming and Astle both look in superb form, both players have passed their half-centuries and are going well. England need a big plan for the 2nd session

Fleming reaches his 50
