Adrian Peterson is still the No.2 running back in the NFL, but he's going to have to work damn hard on holding onto the ball over the off-season. There are running backs like Cedric Benson and Maurice-Jones Drew who are right on his tail and if he fumbles as often as he did this season he's going to find that teams will target the ball every play he runs. And they won't have a quarter back who will bail them out forever.

Here's some stats for you:

Cedric Benson: 13 games, 301 attempts, 1,251 yards, 6 TDs, 1 fumble (0 lost)
Mauric-Jones Drew: 16 games, 312 attempts, 1,391 yards, 15 TDs, 2 fumbles (1 lost)
Chris Johnson: 16 games, 358 attempts, 2,006 yards, 14 TDs, 3 fumbles (3 lost)

Compare those to Peterson:
Adrian Peterson: 16 games, 314 attempts, 1,383 yards, 18 TDs, 7 fumbles (6 lost).

And that doesn't include post-season. He fumbled 9 times the season before as well. If he can learn to hold onto the ball he could well be the best ahead of Chris Johnson, but it's going to take a lot of work.

Cedric Benson is a different type of running back though. He is like a freight train. I had a few classes with him in Uni and he is a pretty cool guy. Smoked a lot of pot :laugh

Yes, he is a different type of running back, and yet he averages almost the same yards per carry as Peterson who is all about speed and agility. Doesn't matter whether your built like a brick shithouse or small and quick, you must be able to keep the ball. The fact that Benson can hold onto the ball makes him a much more valuable player, it's only the Bengals can't pass the ball for ████ and doesn't make him look as good as he really is.

CBS or Fox broadcasting the Pro Bowl? i havent figured out which 1 is...

So pick you top 3 matches.

off top of my head... my top 3 fav would be

Colts v Pats
Ravens v Pittsburgh
Redskins v Saints

i would pick Vikings v Saints, but vikings losts, so no. Eagles v Giants wasnt that bad either .. thats all i can think of right now.

MacLovin added 2 Minutes and 23 Seconds later...

oh this is also the season where i watched most amount of games from the stadium. 7 :D

Cardinals vs Packers (Wildcard)
Vikings vs Saints (Conference)

They are there because I can remember them. Colts vs Patriots was good as well as Houston vs Colts, both times the Colts coming from behind to win.

Trying to remember some more. Browns vs Lions would have been a good one to watch live, but as you would expect, it wasn't chosen for live coverage over here in the UK.

Some of the Bengal wins were good, and their losses. Would've liked to see the Pittsburgh game where they won with barely any time left. I seem to remember them beating the Ravens for a second time a good occasion.

Favourite moment had to be when Chad Ochocinco scored a touchdown in the game following Chris Henry's death. Sport is all about those sort of moments. RIP Chris Henry.

My favorite moment would be the 3 way collusion, Vikings v Packers. LOl to be honest that whole game was pretty special. got to see Fevre accomplishing one of the main reason for his comeback.

AFC won. Best guys were on NFC. Jackson, Vernon Davis, AP, McNabb (though he was horrible, and shockingly Rodgers was doing great). and Romo, wtf! They looked like they didnt wanna be there. well thats not shocking. its pro bowl. but AFC actually had put up a show. fun time never the less. and ESPN let you hear the guys talk, and LOL you should hear some of the shits...and LOL at Maurice Jones-Drew tears for Fevre!

and Jackson! goddamn! MVP for me!

Just watched the game. DeSean Jackson is a machine, will be good to see him again next season hopefully doing bigger and better things, although this season will be hard to top.

Good to see some joking around between the players, especially Romo and Dario Williams.

Who got MVP? It must've been Jackson, surely.

nah. it was Schaub ... though for me it was Jackson

I thought it would be one of those two. Schaub was good, but Jackson was explosive and gave the game some life.
