ODI/Test Series- Australia vs Bangladesh (brad352 vs madmattg)

Match Update

Australia 0/118 (10) RR- 11.8

Gilchrist 63* (35) 10x4 SR- 180.00
Hayden 54* (26) 10x4 SR- 207.69

Mashrafe 5-0-0/46 RPO- 9.2
Talha Jubair 5-0-0/72 RPO- 14.4

The Australian openers came out with the intent to smash the Bangladesh bowlers to all parts of the ground, and that was how it eventuated, the run rate standing at an incredible 11.8. They have had no problems at all on a pitch designed for batsmen and absolutely unforgiving for the bowlers, who have been punished for a wayward line and length. Even with this dream start a win still seems a long way away, with well over 350 runs still to be made, and one of the openers at least needing to push on to a big score.

Match Update

Australia 0/221 (20) RR- 11.05

Gilchrist 102* (61) 16x4 SR- 167.21
Hayden 115* (60) 20x4 SR- 191.66

Mashrafe 7-0-0/69 RPO- 9.86
Talha Jubair 5-0-0/72 RPO- 14.4
Rafique 5-0-0/48 RPO- 9.6
Khaled Mahmud 3-0-0/29 RPO- 9.66

Gilchrist and Hayden have continued the onslaught, the run rate still at over 11 an over and the target looking gettable from their current position. No bowler has been saved, all going at over 9.5 runs an over and looking powerless to stop this incredible opening partnership.

I need a Mcgrath Bowler in my side.

With some huge overs I was also tied down in some.

Looking at my overs without a major collaspse you should do it.

10 overs 4/79
20 overs 4/177
30 overs 6/279
40 overs 7/374
50 overs 9/481

Hey just noticed fast reply is back.

Oh yeah, oh yeah oh yeah.

Anyway..................take some wickets Bangladesh.

So it is- magnificent :)

And the spinners will be back on soon so you might get your wish

Hmmmm yeah right spinners on the dusty WACA.

I do wish...........................................................................

see that flat no existant spin. We will see though. I dont have Gilly to miss those catches so it evens things up a bit.

Amount of spin doesn't matter- I'll manage to get out to them anyway

See the next round of World cup will be using Radaga v5 should be interesting. Hope its alot harder.

Im playing Fight Night 2004 as I wait to see the outcome. Its not a bad game.

Funny enough its made by EA........No where near the bugs of cricket 2004.

I was the same with spin.

Now I find spin so easy. Some bowlers just bowl so much better than others.

ie Mcgrath you hit a ball with same timing as he bowls, bang its out.

If it was Lee ir Harvey bang I smash them for four.

I like that if it was played into the game more. Tail enders need to be so hopeless. So easy to get out. But I dont find that anymore.

At first yes. Now they are just another batsman. Although some hit the ball alot better than others.

Do you want to wait for it before we start the tests?

Sorry- I finished it off last night but didn't have time to post the results
