Cricket will return to these two beautiful countries once more as India take on Australia and West Indies starting September 12.
For the first time the matches will be held under lights at both destinations.
Singapore matches will take place at Kallang whereas all Malaysia matches will take place in Kuala Lumpur.

Sept 12: Australia v West Indies
Sept 14: India v West Indies
Sept 16: India v Australia
Sept 18: Australia v West Indies
Sept 20: India v West Indies
Sept 22: India v Australia
Sept 24: Final

All matches will be played in Kuala Lumpur :cheers

Sad for Singapore though.
I was really looking forth to some games there.

All the matches our now only in Kuala Lampur.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to India v Australia, one of the great contests which unfortunately I haven't experienced much of, but I hope this series gets off to a flying start.

I hope this series is really exciting for us Indian fans!

We havent faced Australia in quite a while (at least 2 years). I am itching to see these old rivals lock horns again! Steve Waugh once said that the Border-Gavaskar trophy is catching up with the Ashes to be the next hardly contested title

West Indies after their win against India, will be justified in feeling confident, and they are a threat too! Who knows when they can spring a surprise?

It's been a long time since I saw the Aussies playing cricket. Can't wait for this one, will be interesting seeing what type of side we send over.

India vs Australia would be really cool that too after a period of dont know how many months.
But to see these two countries back will be really exciting.

Came as a suprise on me since I really didn't knew that any of these countries had pitch, facilities and support enough to arrange a series!

Singapore has hosted a few ODIs in the past. Malaysia hosted the Commonwealth Games cricket tournament, the last ACC Trophy and the current one.

Btw, andrew, the BCCI has said that all matches will be under-lights
So will they be having artificial floodlights or what ?

I'll assume you mean to say temporary floodlights, in which case the answer would be yes. They're used all the time in England.

From what I remember reading in the papers, the organization of the tournament was taken care of by Cricket Australia (given their geographical proximity) while India was in charge of arranging the media rights and such.

By flight,Kuala Lumpur takes 6 hours from Mumbai as well as from Sydney.
So don't really understand the geographical funda.
I believe India actually didd all the stuff. No point discussing it though.
