Always seems to happen to Pathan. Just can never carry on to get that 100. Sehwag went 6 and out, don't know about him batting at 4 though.
for tendulkar i guess

well done sachin on your tonne, lets hope you get out of form very fast!

India all of a sudden in a little trouble. They should be fine if Tendulkar can keep chugging along. Their target may have dropped a little. 300 won't be so easy now.

shewag has been off form recently hasnt he

Not in ODIs, scored a few 90s in his last few ODIs.
Hard to say where to put him Tendulkar showed his magic and Dravid is rock solid partner. If anything a Sehwag and Tendulkar combo would be the way to go with Dravid 3.

Bit of a collapse by India they will now struggle to make 300. No one is staying there to support Tendulkar.

extremely good late batting from tendulkar and raina, they are making this very good to watch! should get 300 - 320

Rania out though. Not too good for India now that Kaif is in.

Great knock by Tendulkar and then some nice late hitting brought India to 309. Hopefully the Windies get a similar start to last time but don't collapse as bad.

good innings from tendulkar india should win but you never know

Voila! I am coming back to cricket now (watching?!!!) and Tendulkar has come back with a huge bang! This is fantastic stuff. At first, he was a bit nervous but his confidence is pretty positive now after all the layoff and the matches he played in England and the two practice ones in Chennai! I think Sachin is going to take all criticisms against him very seriously and I have a gut feeling that we will be witnessing a totally different Sachin from now on! Well he has to answer his detractors and this is the best way - with his bat!

With Sachin around, India seem to be a transformed team. Suddenly Pathan scores runs, the balls connect well for lucky runs, etc. I fear what India will do once Sachin retires! No one will be able to fill the void that Sachin will leave. Dravid might be considered the best batsman right now, but Sachin is the best ever sportsman India has produced! He not only brings value with his bat, but also brings a lot of value to the team!

Great innings from Tendulkar.

Played it out and paced it very nicely.

hope the west indies can make it in to a tight game but i want munaf patel and pathan to get wickets

Tendulkar's knock was a sign of his old self which was great to watch. But India needs him to stay fit and score runs consistently. Too often has he made a thunderous comeback before fading away thereafter and finally picking up an injury.

The key is with the pace-attack. Gayle and the WI struggled a bit against Agarkar in ODI's and Munaf Patel in the tests. I'd rather open MP and Agarkar, instead of Irfan. Bhajji should play a key role as well.

As much as he is a talisman, I think the main problem India have had without him is that they lack elite batsmen of a similar disposition, attacking naturally, but also capable of cautious play. Dravid tends to put more emphasis on caution, while Sehwag or Dhoni come to hit hard. Hopefully young Raina is coming into his own at the perfect time.

I thought Yuvraj had been doing that recently. He seems to have matured and hit form in ODI's, just a shame he's injured today.
