Martyn was a bad selection over Clarke, but Hayden wasn't. Who else do you play? Katich is someone I have never been in favor of because he either goes out early and puts Australia off to a poor start which puts pressure on them or else he stays in, gets 50 and gives his wicket away.

Maybe a bit harsh on Hayden. While he didnt deserve a spot, and him being in the team is only slowing the development of Jaques at the top order, he has played OK.

He played more then okay, he played brilliantly on a pitch where all the other batsman including, Ricky Ponting have struggled on and by the way his played in this tournament; he could play on for a few more years and still have more success then most up and coming batsman.
