And screw you all for not leaving much of a choice for me! Now hopefully PS doesn't mess uo with me. I only have one player in my list right now!
I'll be in your position in the next round and it's West Indies. Hope I get what I'm wanting to get. :p

@Perfect Square your turn.[DOUBLEPOST=1539541109][/DOUBLEPOST]
Tbh he has nice WC stats. Gun pick I would say.

They have not given us much of an option. I need some more minutes to rethink :p

Morne Morkel

The right arm fast bowler, Morne Morkel has been a great been a top-notch front-line bowler for his. Standing at '6.4 feet. Morkel height allows him to bowl steep bouncers that only a few bowlers could do so. Morkel has 118 wickets in his ODI career at an average of 25. When he's on his peak his height and 140+ KPH bowls become something special and guarantee to get the batsman early on. Which he certainly showed in the two World Cups he played.

Morkel took 9 wickets in his 6 games of 2011 WC. His 3/33 against Ireland and 3/46 against New Zealand were his best performances. But his career didn't hit that peak until in 2015 WC. Morne Morkel stole the show with his clinical bowling performance in the 2015 WC. He played a total of 8 games and the fact that his worst performance was 1/27 tells you the story. The tall pacer gave his best in every game and bought the opponent to their knees with his performances like 3/34 against Ireland, 3/59 against New Zealand and many other performances like these.

Morkel averaged 16 in the 2015 WC!

P.S: I've never been so confused before. I finally made my mind to pick a bowler. Morne and Steyn were the ones short-listed. Steyn is one of my favorite bowlers I had to put a stone on my heart to select Morne Morkel because his WC record is phenomenal and above then Steyn's

Andrew Hudson
Although Hudson's overall ODI career looks very average but he was the kind of batsman who brought his A game during the big tournaments such as WC. He formed an excellent opening pair with Kepler Wessels in the 1992 WC first and later with Gary Kirsten in the 1996 WC. Andrew Hudson was always a consistent performer for the Proteas in the WCs. He may not have huge scores to his name but he was someone who provided good starts on a regular basis something which is very important in ODI cricket. It's not like he couldn't score big, he has a highest score of 161 in WCs against the Netherlands. It was a hurricane innings where he struck over 120 runs per 100 balls. A very solid opener with an average over 47 and a SR of nearly 80 is very impressive for someone who played in the 90s.

Not bad. I was considering him and Faf too. But then just realized the bowler Morkel has fantastic bowling record. So why not pick him.

So this was on your mind?

Yeah and I just hoped you don't pick him. I will tell in detail why I picked Hudson over more prominent names when I get to the writeup tomorrow.

Everyone guessed it right, Sir Vivian Richards at 3!
