Welwyn XI found themselves in trouble early on. An unlikely hero in the form of Graeme Swann raised his bat and scored a crucial 130 not out.
Chris Read with his 82 provided the supporting hand. But the tail wrapped up quickly, and Dom Bess with his 4-fer outdid them.

Mark Butcher started the momentum for CerealKiller XI. He scored 91. Although very soon his team were in trouble at 179-5.
The two Sams, Sam Billings and Sam Curran showed resilience and put up a partnership of nearly 200. Sam Billings scored 114, but Sam Curran fell short of a hundred, getting dismissed on 99.

After a decent opening start wickets felt in the middle. There was a lot of uncertainty in the dugout. Specially after James Taylor departed when he was on 74. Paranoid Kendroid had their 8th wicket down on 288.
The one capable batter still at the crease, Chris Woakes charged and won this curcial close contest for his side. He ended up on 90 not out. But that was a special innings.

Well well well. I'm as shocked as you are. That was a surprise turn around from Supreme General XI after getting dismissed for under 250 in the 1st innings. Where to begin?
Dawid Malan scored a classy 100. Plenty of other batters chipped in as well. But Scott Brothwick played an innings of a lifetime scoring a massive 185.

That was a nightmare of an innings for Aravind XI. They were 44-4 and couldn't recover from there on.
The ghost in this nightmare was Jack Leech who bowled magnificently and ended up with the figures of 5-47 in just 15 overs.

Nick Compton again was the difference maker with his 100. Lower order also chipped in with some crucial runs.
