Pakistan in South Africa

Just to clear up the confusion some of you seem to be having with regards to how long Inzi had to wait before being allowed to bat.

He has to wait the amount of time he missed, BUT he can come in after FIVE wickets have fallen if this happens before then.

But he hasn't really made a significant impact in the last year has he? He's a good bowler don't get me wrong, but he's in as bad form with the ball as he is with the bat.

he started of well against India, had a good tour of Sri Lanka in ODIs, but after that the problems came. he could have been picked for this tour over farhat, even Afridi in badd form could have done better with the batt than Farhat has and even tho he is out of form he is still more usefull with hte ball than Farhat. and god damn it Kamran has cost pakistan atleast 5 wickets this test, missed a eazy stumping.

Andrew, Yestoday Inzi had to wait till SEVEN wickets had fallen.....I'm not sure why but he couldn't come in until then!

He might have just been injured then.

No honestly, i was listening to the radio and i was watch it live, the radio was saying that he couldn't come in until SEVEN wickets down, and the T.V had it flashing across.

Then the TV was wrong. The rule is as I wrote it. Besides Inzi came in at number 8.

Andrew was right, here is a direct copy from the comentary on cricinfo.

For those of you asking about where Inzamam is, well he was off the field for much of South Africa's innings so couldn't bat until that amount of time had elapsed in Pakistan's innings. When Yousuf fell, the innings was one and a half minutes short of the mark, so Inzi has to wait until the fifth wicket falls.

Why aren't we bowling Hafeez? What did Farhat do to to get a chance with the ball?

Shoaib is injured once again. Pathetic.

Btw, Afridi has a lot of variation and his bowling is great at times. But playing all-rounders can be risky, but they are the trump card. They can win you the game or they could do nothing.

As I said before, Afridi has just come back from Hajj which is why he was unavailable for this tour. He didn't get dropped.

I believed Yousef was at home with his pregnant wife?

will be interesting if pakistan win this match
next match umar gul might be back 99% chance
and if shoaib recovers then south africa stand no chance

once again pakistan end up with only 2 bowlers

asif and danish
