Why aren't we bowling Hafeez? What did Farhat do to to get a chance with the ball?

Very strange indeed cause he did nothing wrong last test match. Only reason I could think of would be his leggies but bowling the offie gives variation.

Oh then that would explain it. You guys seem to be racking up these injuries atm which isn't what you need with the WC so close.

I'll be very surprised if we had less than 4-5 injured players at the world cup

So if this turns out to be a close match, in the single digits, is Pakistan going to complain about the ball hitting the helmet when it was declared dead ball? We should have gotten 5 runs for it.
Why is it that the third umpire or fourth umpire or the referee did not rule on this when the field umpire was in flagarant violation of the rules? The third ump can alert the field umpire of other errors like the ball touching the boundary etc and the scores are changed appropriately later on. Why was this not done in this case? And why was the field umpire signalling dead ball to begin with?? Inzi played a full sweep shot he cant say no shot was attempted.

The umpire called it straight away. It was a stupid call, he should be penalised for it. It had nothing to do with the 3rd umpire.
TBH, I thought Inzi hit it straight away anyway.

Yeah me too. I was watching every minute of the Pakistan inning and saw no such thing. Anyway, Prince goes to Kaneria and South Africa are effectively -24/4 now. Asif is bowling very well and deserves a wicket.
