Pakistan in South Africa

great ball by Sami! Just what we needed!

PS. Dont we have any Saffies here??

wow shame i missed that. Asif is a world class player and is really becoming something special.

He bowls at the pace of a medium pacer and his quicker ball is nearing the 80's. MPH obviously, im not sure about KPH.

Gambino, Inzimam was ONLY allowed to bat at 4.55PM OR when seven wickets had fallen. I know what i'm talking about so dont try to make it out im incorrect.

 Asif's just taken Amla's middle stump, its actually bent where the stump cam is !!

i think his fast ball is around 120-125 in km/h, and Simbazz is correct about the Inzi argument, he wasnt alowed to bat for the duration of the time that he was of the field when pakistan were fielding, and when Younis fell they put Sami in cuz there was only 7 overs left.

BTW it was Sami not Asif, if im correct. good for him strugled a bit with his control but to see him pick up a wicket is great, hopefully he can keep this going.

all i know is that there was just 1 minute and 30 seconds for inzi to be able to bat when yousuf got out,

so they sent akmal in instead
but when you put it wicketwise in that point you are correct as he was only allowed to bat after 7th wicket fell

Gambino, i dont understand what your trying to say. Ive told you that what i am saying is 100% correct. If you would like me to repeat i will. When Yousef got out Inzi wasn't allowed to bat, so i don't know why your saying this.

all im saying is that had yousuf not got out for another 2 minutes then inzi would have come out to bat

That is incorrect because he fell well before 4.55PM

Big words have confused me :( What you mean?

I'm a bit late with this and the discussion has moved on, but it basically means that if the injury is like a twisted knee or a broken finger then they aren't alowed to bat/bowl for the length of time that they've been off but if it's internal like a migraine or something then they can come straight back on.

Might be the other way round though. I'm not sure.

On the Afridi debate as well I have this to say;

If Pakistan want to shoot themselves in the foot and take a step backwards then by all means play Afridi. His batting is woeful and his bowling isn't even as good as it's hyped up to be. He's just a glorified medium pacer.

his batting skill is great he is a imensly palented batsman but he doesnt have the right mindset, and are u serious about his bowling. thats been hes strong point this past year, can spin the ball a good amount and can bowl both offies and leggies.

But he hasn't really made a significant impact in the last year has he? He's a good bowler don't get me wrong, but he's in as bad form with the ball as he is with the bat.
