What do you have to say to say Gambeeno? :p
thats the thing about being a pakistani supporter
they keep the fans interested till the last second

had it not been for akmals drops pakistan would have chased around 40-50 though
akmal for president
he's atoned for his dropped catches

Akmal is proving his value to the team with the bat, he may drop a few catches, but he is a match winning batsman on his day.

Akmal?? Match-winning batsmen!!!! :| You have to be joking you idot!!!!

his best one has to be the karachi one followed by mohali then his 154 vs england and finally that 100 in his destructive partnership with afridi at lahore vs india

yea were talking match-wining knocks, the mohali 154 was partnered by Yousuf who made 200+, and the last one u mentioned had really nothing to do with matchwining cuz pakistan made 600+ in that test if im not mistaken, really his Karachi hundred was probably the best innings last year.

the mohali innings was match saving and it was 109

the 154 was a mtch winning inning even yousuf hit 223 cos pakistan won that match in lahore

so Shabbir nor coming to SA cos he couldn't prove his fitness....so thats 3 world class bowlers out...Umur Gul, Shoaib and now Shabbir...again the man, Asif, is left alone to deal with the mighty SA batsmen...maybe Kaneria offers some help but not as much as the bowlers who went out would have...

wel its a spin and dry wicket so we have the best chance of beating SA at their home that we have ever had

we should bat first and that should give danish enough runs and more than 25 overs to get a wicket

once he gets past 25 overs he should run through them

Rana or Nazir?

It has to be Rana.. He has looked like a wicket taking bowler, and we have asif and Danish to block the runs.

Before the tour started I had thought that Nazir's bowling would've been perfect for South African pitches, but he was pretty useless in the first test. At least Naved was able to pick up wickets. So its Asif, Sami, Naved, Kaneria then.

Why are SA producing slow spinning wickets when they have no decent spinners?
I don't get why Pakistan persist with Sami. His bowling in the last test was lunch for Gibbs & Kallis and he was probably the reason why a partnership leaked out.
Hashim Amla also should be dropped and sadly so should AB. :(

I am by no means a Sami fan, but he bowled well in the last match. We need someone with speed who can trouble the South Africans, he has done just that in the last match. He didn't get many wickets but he bowled better than his figures suggest.
