Asif has a chance to break Waqars and Shabirs record of quickets to 50 wickets. Waqar and Shabir did it in 10 tests and the next test will be Asifs 9th and he needs 6 wickets from this test. Pakistan have the slight advantage going into this test with Pollock and Nel rested for the ODIs.

I was really expecting big things from De Villiers, He's all there as a player. His Batting when he is in form is fantastic, He's just let some glaring technical mistakes creep into his game, which is why he keeps getting out so easily and cheaply. He is also a top draw Keeper, Easily the best I've seen to replace Boucher.

I don't think Pakistan are in such a bad position, especially after de Villiers went near to stumps. If they get Harris early in the morning, SA are 6 down and could in theory be bundled out for 200. Then you have Kaneria in SA's 2nd innings, he was causing de Villiers problems on day one, so he will definitely be a threat on days 3-4.

other than Kaneria and Asif the suporting cast was wayward, gave up too many runs. i kno both Nazir and Sami picked up wickets but they just cant keep a good line and length. if they can get Prince out early tomorow than its game on, with Harris being the main spinner Pakistan will only have to worry about the pace attack.

also Afridi could have done better this series than both Hafeez and Farhat.
