New Zealand Lose Their 3rd!!!

Questions will start firing out as soon as possible about whats going on, the Kiwis have lost their 3rd wicket in quick sucession it might just be a bad patch in the game or all round...lets see what the commentators have to say about it!!!

2vk4.jpg

David Gower: This was a incredible wicket somewhat supprising that Sinclare decided to go after it knowing that the ball is doing somthing and he should play himself in first get his eye working at the spee dof the ball maybe. Because we all know with bowlers like Akhter and Asif theres no room for error and it shows after this quick spell of bowling!!!

Bumble:
Exactly right there David, you cant be taking risks agaisnt bowlers like themselves you have to be careful or as on display this morning simple text book stuff gets you out, all Pakistan have done is bowl outside off stump wit a few exceptional bowls but besides that its all been line and lemght Akhter coming in at 85-95mph outside offstump overcast day ball moving and Sinclare has alittle dabble at it and finds himself walking back, mind you it was a brilliant diving catch by Shoaib Malik winderful catch at slip half the credit of the wicket should go to him. Thats all for now!!!

New Zealand V Pakistan, Day 1 Lunch!!!

Well hello once again thanks for tunning in to our live coverage we are now currently in the Lunch break where both teams will want to get a few tactics have a rest and then resume play for now its to the commentators for there last part of the day!!!

2st6.jpg

David Lloyde:
Boy i must say i nearly fell asleep what a boring session i know it sounds harsh but really look at the runs on the board im starting to think if New Zealand actually want to win this or not they look like there playing for a draw!!!

David Gower:
Yes it was incredibaly slow scoring happening out there just the few wickets which put some excitement in it...wek lets see if we can add some excitement with our 3rd Man Michael Holding...

3rd Man!!!

3zw7.jpg

Michael Holding:
Thanks David. Well as we know the New Zealands batsmans scoring rate was extremly slow this could be dues to many reasons one of them could be the overcast conditions or the swing on the ball but even with these conditions you need to hit ball one or another because runs dont come by themselves so ive gathered that the only thing which could be stopping the batsman or intimadating them is the line and lenght bowled by the Pakistanis. take a look at this pitch map for the right handers and look at where the balls have been pitched it shows a great deal...

1rs1.jpg

Michael Holding: That is bowling from both Mohammed Asif and Shoaib Akhter it clearly shows how much they've been troubling the batsman with just line and lenght alone the batsman are definatly fearful of getting edges and if you take a look at where the wickets were with the exception of the reverse swinger obth edges were near enough in the same place as eachother and were rewarded but one way or another New Zealand need to buck up their ideas and start scoring runs!!!

Fabolous start from the Pakistanis. I would say if they get a couple more they are going to win with ease.

New Zealand Hit Out!!!

Hello once again viewers well were back after the Lunch break and its livened up a little bit since the morning session where we saw a poor display of batting by the Kiwis...to take you throught the rest of the update will be a new set of commentators Ian Botham and Nasser Hussain!!!

1jp4.jpg

Ian Botham:
Well the briefing ws pretty right New Zealand have really tried to put the pressure on Pakistan with some good healing batting from Astle and MacMillan giving Astle supports.

Nasser Hussain:
Yeah your right there Beefy Astle has to be the pick of the batsman for the first few overs of the afternoon great skill he's showed, he made himself realise what we doing with so little runs on the board then smack 4s all the way nearly to get to a great 50 which will be a benchmark for him and wil definatly need to get at least a 100 to get the Kiwis in a good spot but all credit goes to him for his great attacking play and his wonderful half cnetury...

2dg7.jpg

Ian Botham: Yes i agree with you to he's shown that he is a senior player and has lead from the front if you want so others can follow and try to get their country in a decnt position from here only lost 3 wickets can still rebuild if they work at it and keep their patiance!!!

New Zealand V Pakistan, Tea Day 1!!!

You'll be pretty supprised on how quickly the tables have turned Astle was pounding the Pakistani pacemen until he maybe got a bit carried away and was dismissed find out how by our experts...

1vb9.jpg

Nasser Hussain:
Well weve seen how quickly a game of cricket can turn this match was starting to flow New Zealands way when Astle was belting out a super attack until he face Maliks ball right outside the offstump tried to cut it and found himself walkin back to the hut for a great well neede 57!!!

2os8.jpg

Ian Botham:
Yes that was a pretty good and useful dissmisal but thats not where it ended Malik still had some more in his bag of fire when he pulled out i think one of the first bouncers of the match which amazingly got another wicket and a useful one to of MacMillan who tried to hook it and hook it hard but timming was all out as you can see the picture below the ball went right in the air no where close to the boundary or anything straight in the air and a pretty good catch to!!!

New Zealand End OF Innings, Day 2!!!

As you can see we have a pretty big uupdate for you as we have reached the climax of New Zealands Innings with the Pakistani's in control once again, let our experts take you through the rest!!!

1gf2.jpg

Ian Botham: Well right there a pretty big update but we'll try and cut it down as much as we can as for whats been going on is another New Zealand collaps just as it looked like they were back on top when Marshall smacked a 50 but then was dissmised for 50 because Asif was having a terrible time with him but won the battle when he bowled a really slow paced ball ouside offstump and it was nicked to the slips. Then Mucullum was taken out in similar fation as a previous batsman if you remember caught pulling but it was a misstimed pull which went in the air and caught by Butt again not a good shot for the circumstances!!!

2vm5.jpg

Nasser Hussain: Well yes two very important wickets were taken there but one wicket of Asif's which supprised me was the one of Tuffy i cant quite figure out what kind of shot it was it was like a half hearted shot he was almost squared up and the ball slipped past him and he was bowled but it was very interesting in what kind of position he ended up in and what he tried to play. Apart from that there were just the tail left to clear which was done mainly by Asif who ended up with 7 wickets all together great bowling by him!!!

Heres the scorecards and the two Pakistani openers going out to bat!!!

New Zealand V Pakistan, Afternoon Session!!!

Well you must be thinking huh afternoon well heres what ahppened our dear friend Rain struck only for a few minuetes but enough to finish of the Morning Session so we continue from the Afternoon Session let our commentators Ramiz and Lloyde guide you through the rest!!!

1gh6.jpg

2kl0.jpg

Bumble: Well as you can see rain spoiled things a bit but we were expecting it to come and it didnt stay for to long well play got underway after Lunch and it was a corking 15-20mins when Tuffy got the all important breakthrough of Shoaib Malik who was earlier on caught edged of a no ball and now caugh edge in the same place we were expecting him to score some runs but it wasnt to be today!!!

3ms7.jpg

Ramiz Raja:
Despite that wicket another fell to of the most dangerous Salman Butt who has finally shown a poor score of only 12 which was well worked for to so it might be the start of a bad patch you never know but Inzi and Younis must get some major runs when i say major i mean 100s!!!

New Zealand V Pakistan, Tea Day 2!!!

Hell we are in the short Tea Break at the moment where New Zealand will definatly be a discussing how to stop the runs flowing as they have been since after Lunch where Pakistan were going through a bad patch but are now certainly doing great!!!

1un1.jpg

Ramiz Raja:
I am very pleased with the way Pakistan have composed themselves and put up a patiant fight this partenership with Younis and Inzi has been fantastic and so has Inzis 50 which he will want to convert into a 100 or so!!!

Bumble:
Yes i am also exceptionally impressed with the performance by Younis Khan and Inzi which has put Pakistan in a great position for a big score only if both of them can concentrate and make big runs and remeber Mohammed Yousuf is still to come!!!
