Injuries also played a part in his career. He got injured somewhere around in 2014 and I guess he did not play the 2015 WC due to it. He came back in the Bangladesh series and didn't look as effective. The Champions Trophy was definitely a good tournament for him but his economy was on the higher side in the 2019 ODI series in England just before the World Cup and hence he was excluded after being named in the squad.
