The annoying thing about Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir is the consistent complaining they do on TV shows and keep preaching tactics and solutions to the Pakistan cricket team - the only people actively ruining their careers are themselves.

When it comes to actually proving anything, you abandon the National T20 Cup. Hate Shoaib Malik all you like, but at least he is giving his T20 WC hopes a proper attempt by playing the league.

Even Mohammad Abbas is playing in this cup.

Both are playing for Sialkot currently
Right, looks like a lot of the Pakistanis played for Div1 teams in the FC and LA comps and now are representing their "home" teams for the T20. Kamran Ghulam moved from Peshawar to Abottabad, Huraira from Faisalabad to Sialkot and Zahid Mahmood from Multan to Larkana.

Which is really weird and shady. It means some players are playing for 3 domestic teams in the same home season — regional team for FC and LA, regional team for T20, and departmental team.

The main problem with it is that some of them are playing against the teams they were just with — leading to easy fixing opportunities depending on where their loyalties lie.

I miss the 6-team format and HD broadcasts so much. Could have easily just added 2 more teams.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Everyone was slamming the 6 team format after Sethi raised some (valid) points, and now everyone will advocate for it.

It feels like the talent that was coming out of that structure was better filtered, because only the best players made it.
Could have just added Lahore and Karachi teams, so that Central and Southern Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan can have more local players.

Sindh without Karachi would be uncompetitive

I think have 2 Sindh teams and then separate Rawalpindi-Islamabad and Northern territories

I completely agree - talent seems super diluted. I'm looking down the roster for most of the teams and I barely recognize 2 players.

Also hate watching the stadium being completely empty in these games - surely it's a better idea to use other stadiums in Karachi rather than the National Stadium exclusively.

Can't believe that Sohail Khan is still playing and Khurram Manzoor as well.

Which fast bowler plays till 40!

Domestic circuits are often filled with such players. I don't see the issue with that tbh.

The bigger issue is the PCB is trying to delay Rauf's NOC so he can play in the BBL.

In terms of the domestic structure, Pakistan are facing the same issue England, Australia and India face and none of this is new...namely: the best players play internationally and can not take part in the domestic structure. The sad part is, playing the long form of the game at domestic level would be hugely beneficial for the like sof Shadab, Rauf and quite a few others but they just can't. It's a big issue which makes international arena the finishing school which it shouldnt be.

For the U19 Asia Cup:

Pakistan U19 squad - Saad Baig (captain and wicket-keeper), Ahmad Hussain, Ali Asfand, Amir Hassan, Arafat Minhas (vice-captain), Azan Awais, Khubaib Khalil, Najab Khan, Naveed Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Riazullah, Mohammad Tayyab Arif, Mohammad Zeeshan, Shahzaib Khan, Shamyl Hussain and Ubaid Shah

Non-Travelling Reserves – Ahmad Hassan, Aimal Khan, Obaid Shahid and Mohammad Zulkifal

Arafat is a gun. I feel he will be carrying Pak throughout both U19AC and U19WC. On the batting front, Shamyl Hussain and Shahzaib are exciting prospects, will probably be Pak's first choice opening pair. Mohammad Zeeshan is a really tall fast bowler, I think he might be the spearhead
