You're right. Poor management from the PCB. Also, surely it is better that the players are playing quality county cricket rather than working out in the camp because nothing beats match practice.

Don't think it's entirely their fault. The by-election in Lahore was the reason it got brought forward I think.

And that by-election is taking place because the sitting (now former) Prime Minister was disqualified by the Supreme Court on corruption charges. So it's quite unfair to criticise the PCB.

Which pill?

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the following players: Usama Mir, Ghullam Mudassar, Saud Shakeel, Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Asghar.

Who does everything think would be an appropriate replacement for the voids left by Younis and Misbah? Haris Sohail? Imam Ul Haq? Umar Amin? Usman Salahuddin? Obviously you've also got to take into account what the selector's would realistically entertain, as they are obviously turning a blind eye to the likes of Fawad Alam.

All these players are tipped for the future, but the main issue is the lack of international A cricket being played. Would have really liked a Pakistan A series against the likes of Australia, South Africa etc. with these players for a better judge of their character. I mean its all good playing those big innings on Pakistan's flat tracks but it's all about how you cope on the bouncy tracks down under.
