What an utterly egotistical man. What has he done in the last year or so that was noteworthy of him getting an "A" grade contract? Him taking retirement may even be a good sign for Pakistan.

I do think the reason why Mohammad Amir isn't performing consistently, might be the way he is being treated by the PCB and the coach.
Ever since he has returned he is 'Ladla' boy in the team. He picks and choose matches I think. He does not push extra in most of matches now. Because his place in the side is permanent.
And now since we have a good fast bowling pool. (Hasan Ali, Shinwari, Faheem, Junaid, Shaheen, Abbass, Rumman, Riaz.?) He needs to be told that if he wants to be the main bowler. He needs to perform like that.

I was watching a game between two teams from the Lahore Qalandars development program, today. It was being broadcasted on Geo Super, and I saw a guy by the name of "Tariq Nawaz" bat. His style of stroke play, and his stance and the way he carried himself through the innings reminded of when Umar Akmal was a youngster in the team. He was just starting up, and he scored that incredible test hundred in New Zealand. I wish I had a clip of him batting to post here.
