this was heart-breaking though, almost as close as the famous Asad Shafique test but Cummins produced a couple of blinders and Rizwan was incredibly unlucky from what I'm hearing. Just goes to show how good Pakistan could have been if they had some first choice players and a coaching staff that wasnt cobbled together last minute...like most other teams.We may have lost, but a lot of positives to take away from this one. I think a few of our bats have gotten their eye in, hopefully they can expand on it next match. Next match will be closer!

100%. Abrar is highly regarded. Sajid and Noman not so much.Given that they’ve opted to go for Salman as the sole part time spinner on two occasions and the newbies haven’t looked out of place when they’ve played would Abrar have played a test anyway?
