Pakistan Tour of Bangladesh - November/December 2021

from 146-0 to 207-5 lol, only Pakistan could do that.
Then you clearly haven't seen the true Bangladesh in action. Undoing solid starts are so common for them that it's a big shock for us when it doesn't happen or the opposite happens, like in this match. Though I have a feeling it won't last long.

The reason to watch it tomorrow is these two teams... They can make a chase of 150 odd on fourth day wicket look interesting.... Both side of fans may increase their BPs :lol

Lead is 140 with 5 wickets down. On this wicket, that’s going to be very challenging.

Good to see Bangladesh is on winning position, for a change. Although they may end up losing this one so not a prediction :lolThis

This guy Yasir Ali won my respect today. Liton always was very stylish player... Great to see he found his tenacity.

And how terrible Pakistan has been! Terrible fielding, terrible reviews... :facepalm

Well played Pakistan. Full marks goes to the openers as far as batting is concerned. Shaheen is a beauty, leading wicket taker of 2021.

For tomorrow, I will still keep my fingers crossed. We have a history of collapsing on low scores chasing on a 5th day. Let's hope this won't be this time around.

Fantastic by the openers again. They need to shave off the target as much as they can.

One thing that leaves me perplexed, why are substitutes allowed only for concussions? Why not for all injuries?

This surprises, great job done by the openers. On a 4th and 5th day pitch, a score above above 150 is always challenging specially when the opposition has a good spin attack. Good win by Pakistan.

Abid Ali is very good at bashing weaker teams. He'll have to prove himself against Australia.

Agreed, probably he will be successful as it will be a Home Series. He has changed his stance though a bit I've noticed. He used to shuffle too much before. I observed he struggled in away pitches. We will have to wait and see but certainly he is a lot better than Imam ul Haq and a good find for now.

Pleasantly surprised by the openers in this match.
Pakistan need to address our middle order not performing together. Babar and Azhar need to step up, really.
Also, our spin attack post-Yasir Shah will need to be figured out. Nauman Ali is already 35.

I hope Azhar Ali regains his old touch back. He has been so consistent but its a long time now, he is still struggling to get back into his old form. Is it too late for him? Not sure, I don't follow much from Pakistan's domestic structure but at times the statistics don't matter much. We have an example from Abdullah Shafiq here, He didn't have any domestic match yet it seems he is an international material. A talent picking eye has to be there but its rare.

Meanwhile, we have a breaking news that Bangladesh has named a 19 member squad consisting of major Rookie Players for the Dahaka test. Worrying signs for Pakistan as we have the history of making ordinary and some times poor and part-timer players look great. There are many examples, Steven Finn, DeGrandhomme, Summerville, Andy Bichel, Kesprowich, One South African Fast Bowler who never returned after destroying our lineup in one test as he samshed all over the park later on, so on and so forth.

I also believe that team has become bit successful in removing that unpredictability tag so let's hope we will perform the way a Top Team performs against Rookie Players.

PS: I am no kidding.

Oh Phil Simmons is among the Top who destroyed our great line-up back in 1993 that even Included Javed Miandad and Salim Malik If I remember correctly.
