Pakistanis banned from speaking English at WC

Since they have knowledge of English, it doesn't mean they will speak. Some have knowledge of German, but you won't see them speaking it in public.

neither Pakistan cricket team can speak english nor they can score runs :).....so what exactly they can??

Now they can be mistranslated instead ;)

kinda agree, lol.

Anyway I don't think the word "banned" is right one, that?s why education is the key, I think the most Educated person in Pakistan cricket is(was) Imran Khan or Wasim akram, lol how come the former players of Pakistan knew better English then current (2007) players. strange.

fair enough he can speak whatever he feels like... but i dont get what it mean by Banned? jus leave them alone. they can make their own choice of what they wana speak

They should be able to speak in whatever language they feel comfortable with. If they choose to speak English, it shows their multi-lingual talent. If they can speak English comfortably and want to speak it in their interviews why stop them. then again, if they choose to speak Urdu, let them. Allow them to choose.

Tactics, now no players can understand what they are saying. Could be saying all sorts out!

This world cup just gets more and more bizzare by the moment. Injuries galore, the World Cup getting damaged, Gavaskar sledging the Aussies, a tied match by the Irish, Bermuda giving the world plenty fo doubt why they are playing international cricket in the first place, this, Sotuh African Carnage...it just keeps growing and growing..
