Pakistan in trouble know at 85-5. well i can tell you Pakistan can recover with I Farooq and the captain there. lets see what happens.

Imran Farooq gets run out for 2. not a good innings from the keeper. Plus there was no chance for a third run.

Well Ykhan the captain was the next man to go as he was bowled by Mahroof as he was trying to defend a good inswinger hitting leg stump. Pakistan in trouble.

S Nazir was next to go, despite picking up 6-12 with the ball he could only pick up a few runs with the bat.

Pakistan moved onto 100-3 thanks to a wide from Udara. Mahroof was brought back into the attack but nothing much happened for him as he was smashed for 7 runs off his over. Udara then topped that bad over off with a maiden.


Mahroof came back onto bowl and bowled a medium and short pitched ball that swung away from the bat. As soon as he let go it went at 68 MPH. Ul-Hasan miss judged it and nicked it to first slip who took a brilliant diving catch.

Welcome back Ul-Hasan just gone. M Asif is on strike and oh he ahs been bowled. off and leg stump out of the ground. well pakistan all out for 109. Sri Lanka will be happy. lets see what happens.

Well lets join are guest here up in the commentary box we have Marvin Attapatu and Wasim Akram. So lets get ready for Sri Lanka second inings. I am Mark Nicholas and welcome to the After The Innings show. Well Wasimm and Marvin. not a good innings.

WA: well Pakistan never got going, they are not that good a team but they should have done better. only S Butt and Khan played well. Pakistan need to win some matches to get there morale up.

MA: Well i agree but know Sri Lanka need to concentrate the have a lead and lead to build on that. Are fielding and bowling where exceptional. Herath is a star fielder and his throwing was very accurate. Thaman was great behind the stumps as allways.

MN: Well can you believe it not even one day played and the third innings is about to start.

WA: well this game has been very short due to great bowling from both side's.
If Sri Lanka bat well it could be day 3 or 4 before this ends.
MA: well it is hard to believe. infact i think Sri Lanka should win tomorrow as Pakistan lost to bangladesh in 3 out of there 7 matches. so Pakistan are not that strong but you never now.

Welcome back. Sri Lanka looking for a good lead here. Tharanga and Thaman walk out to the middle. Lets Join our commentators and see what happens. Sri Lanka are 46 runs ahead and need a lead.


Tharanga gets out caught and bowled the same fashion as in the pakistani innings. Lets have a look at that wicket. Sri Lanka are know 4-1 and in trouble.

After that Sri Lanka hit a few more boundarys to move onto 22-1 and looking fairly confident before Herath was on his way back to the pavilion. He was bowled thanks to a great inswinger by Ul-Hasan.

Sri Lanka were really under pressure. they couldn't do anything.Both Ul-Hasan and Asif where bowling short balls and there best balls ever. There could have been 5 wickets but the batsman had survived.

Well Sri Lanka 45-3 and lookinng comfortable but then yep another wicket. Jayantha went bowled around his legs by Asif. Sri Lanka in trouble on 45-4.

Well straight after that Samaraweera came in and he was bowled firsgt ball thanks to an Out swinger from Asif. Asif is now on a Hattrick with the score 45-5.

Asif did not get his Hattrick but Ul-Hasan picked up one in the next over. He bowled exceptionaly well with a inswinger taking leg stump. Jayaratne went for 4 of 43. BTW do u like the bit where it says there name at the bottom or a big one like above where itb has stats.

Finally day 1 ended after 3 innings had been played. Sri Lanka resumed play with the score on 56-6 and in trouble. Do not forget to tune in later for Day 2.

Pakistan where now 0-1. Amin hit a boundary. The next ball he called for two he was halfway down the pitch before Afridi sent him back. Amin was not even the picture as he was run out. Silly running. Pakistan 8-2

Then came Y Khan's wicket. he was run out after trying to go for 2 runs. Pakistan 67-3.
