Patch 1.05 Now Available on PS4

So I restarted the PS4 after installing the patch and seem to be getting better frames.

Glad to hear that, That was the only concern I had in the last patch. Anyways I will be playing in an hour's time.

Had 20 mins on 1.5 ( fixed training bug thx ) found this much more stable felt the best so far , playing On veteran and medium for bowling and batting .
Had odd edge which is good .

Hi Everyone,

We just put live another update to the PS4 version of Ashes Cricket, this resolves the issues with the previous 1.04 update with dismissals not being registered correctly.

Thanks to everyone for their patience and reports of the issue.

This update contains everything that was included in the 1.04 update, so those notes again are as follows:

- Additional photogrammetry for English players
- Added static camera options
- Adjusted crease positioning to spinners
- Adjusted non-striker reactions
- Adjusted display time of ball marker online
- Adjusted timing of return to crease after shots
- Restructured statistics calculations
- Rectification of various anomalies

Thanks for the game and patches. Loving first impressions and efforts you've made pre and post release. You really have taken cricket gaming to another level when others had just ignored cricket gaming.

Issue : Gameplay modifiers working online
Bug description : Even though it shows gameplay modifiers option as locked while playing online, when we set the gameplay modifiers to on prior to the start of the online match, it remains. For example, if you set it as easy, even if you play in legend mode, you ll be playing in easy difficulty. While your opponent plays on the hardest difficulty (if he set it to off).

Please @MattW try to fix it in the next patch as we have already started the first online league in legend mode and this gameplay modifiers playing a major impact. Once again thanks a lot for all the hard work you guys putting in.

Will look into it as soon as I can - however this is not something that has been touched in this patch or 1.04.

If people can play online and make sure they've got modifiers turned off on both machines and let us know if there's any issues with difficulty with it in that state, that would be good - that would then narrow the issue down.

@MattW For some reason I cant edit my stadium that I have created, when I select my stadium its loads but when the stadium creator interface loads up it just freezes and I cant see the stadium or cant edit it. I have to press the PS home button and close the game that way!

I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like when it loads. I have downloaded somebodys eles stadium they have created and it loads fine and I can edit it aswell, not sure where I have gone wrong!

I can't give status on specific issues, other than to say, if you've reported something in the correct template, and provided as much detail as possible - and responded if I've asked follow up questions in the bug report discussion thread - then we're either looking at it, or it's on a list to get looked at.

All I'll say as a general thing is that people asking 'what about the x bug' is very unhelpful when they use one or two words to describe a bug - it is very hard to know the specifics you are talking about.

One thing that would be helpful is if people have made reports in the bug thread, and an update has resolved it for them - that they edit their post and flag that it's fixed or make a comment in the discussion thread about it.

Can you get me a copy of your 'Stadiums' save data? See the details here for copying save files to USB then attach and upload them to a post in the bug report thread (filling in the template as well).

As a general thing, if you're having issues that can be triggered by loading a particular save file (such as a career) or viewing/loading particular academy content, then save files are very helpful. Your 'Profile'/'Academy' saves are usually the important ones if the issue is loading into a menu.

Great work on the patch and so quick to roll it out. I have a small suggestion which I hope you can apply in the next patch is that when you press the D pad up to choose next bowler is there any way you can made the HUD slightly bigger it's hard as the font is really small to see when you sitting far back.
