Patch 4 Wishlist and Suggestions

Also, how about applying a random bat from the manager to generated players in career mode instead of just giving everyone the default blank bat? Or give us an option to assign them ourselves. People are putting a lot of work into these bats and it would be nice to get full use out of them.
Agreed, nice suggestion... As part of such a feature I would also like to see the ability to give bats a nationality (or multiple ones) so that they will assign randomly to players of that nationality so you see players using bats from local manufacturers... More Kookaburra in Aus, G&M in England, CA in Pakistan etc.

Or at the very least, random bats based on the default BA created sponsors. It'd at least make those early games in club level a little better.

patch 4 - please improve AI target chasing. more aggresive batting from AI is needed. also after 10 overs while batting in night games there seems to be frame rate issues on xbox one after patch 3. please also fix the running bug where the batsman waits before running.causing run outs.

My Suggestions

1) Bring back all the stats of DBC 14 for all formats. I am not sure why they had to strip it when I thought it was working well.
2) Ability to choose Pitch condition, Umpire and start time for tours and competition
3) AI needs more tightening in terms of its batting bowling and fielding. More balanced field so that it can block those areas where we hit repeated boundaries and exploit, less byes and use of resources like spinners including better length whilst bowling. In one match I had close to 100 plus runs in Extras.
4) Super human Keeper needs a leash kept on him.
5) Throw to both ends when we drop and steal quick single so that it will make us aware risk of quick single and a little bit of agility to the fielding in general will be good.
6)set fields for bowlers and ability to save them and not re do it again when they come for second spell and so on. Currently at times random field shows up where fielders kept in some weird positions which was not your choosing.

Others before me too have said similar things. I am sure Bigant won't disappoint us as I understand it is painstaking exercise for them to fix the bugs and errors without impacting other codes within the game.

bro it all depend on pitch in regards to turn. Some pitches, you cannot have any turn. However, the speed is all depend on players bowling speed. Even in real cricket, medium pace does 80 and 110, spinner 60-95 and fast medium 105-140....You just have time the ball, just play very late and ths balls are very easy to smash.
So u mean to say we edit the bowling speed to 0 and play a match...i think skills editing should be locked in online play

I like to be constructive and try to keep my suggestions within the general parameters of the game we've got, but...

..batting in fielding hat!

Every delivery I've faced since Primary School I have done so in my floppy, white sun hat. Dozens of deliveries, multiple flying stumps, occasional instances of cover point having to jog slightly to their right to field one of my big pull shots; all done in my floppy white hat. However, when I come to create a younger, handsomer, hunkier version of myself in this game I can't bat in my fantastic white hat, I have to wear some baggy monstrosity in team colours. In real life I'd rather keep wicket than have to wear such a thing.

We had it in DBC14 where I looked like a film star version of myself with my funky hat and my old Slazenger bat. I got to live out all my destroyed dreams vicariously through one game.

My request is...let us bat in our choice of hat and let us choose the colour of said hat.

As long as I have my sculpted adonis of an avatar batting in anything other than a floppy white sun hat then I shall consider this game to be incomplete.

1. Please fix keeper especially unable to cut the ball always keeper holds the catch even at 5th slip for spinners..
2. Please fix the movement of batsman way too the other side .
Example:
If the bowl is bowled at leg stumps if I cover drive premeditated my batsman playing the cover drive by almost moving to 2nd slip.
I am getting bowled.
Expectation: He has to do cover drive by standing in leg stumps, ball should hit the leg and LBW appeal is to be made. Not like moving across and play cover drive.
Similarly I am observing issue when doing leg glance from off stump , I am getting bowled because batsman is going across off stump and try to glance.

Please add one confirmation Window for declare...I accidentally declared in career t20 world championship final when I tried to change batting order :facepalm

If the batsman movement has be fixed then the bowler bowling wides has to be fixed also..they should tune a bit on the distance of the ball and bat for wides

Well it's really frustrating to be waiting and waiting for the fixes. But anyways first things first, please fix the AI responsiveness. At the present the AI is too dumb specially in T20s and ODIs. Make the AI play more aggressively towards the end overs. While bowling they keep waiting for the batsmen to score 20 in an over before spending the field. And it's annoying when the AI keeps only two fielders outside the circle in the last over of an innings and plays defensive and grounded shots in death overs while batting. Other thing can wait, gameplay is the lifeline of a game. If you don't make any effort to improve it over the course of time, then I as a loyal customer who paid 3k INR for the steam version would defiantly would feel cheated.

- Reduce AI's punishing difficulty - I'm even playing on Amateur and Rookie and the AI just punishes your bowling like anything. In T20, there's 2 x 4s every over no matter what. It is getting very frustrating as AI takes 0 time to have major confidence and blasts you all over while you MUST await slow confidence build up before shots.

- Ability to place fielders where I want, not in those chosen spots. Why in 2017 do we still have to stick to fields chosen by developer? I should be able to just place fielders anywhere. And by god is it slow and painful. The whole fielding has to be rethought and redone from scratch. The little pop up choices are basically useless. Very poor fielding design which means - even small changes will make it really a good improvement as there's only one place to go from here - up.

I (and many others) made this recommendation for patch 3 as well but in career mode, players need to be able to retire from international cricket. Additionally, there should be an option for players to only retire from certain formats . I don't think this should be so hard, but I don't understand game programming at all so may be it is. Either way, it would be nice. Hopefully someone is listening, or rather reading.

Posted this before patch 3 and doing it again .
BIG ANT please remove the animation of the bowler changing its bowling mark when we try to bowl from a bit wider or closer to stumps
It gives us a cue when batting or to the AI when bowling that the following delivery will be bowled a bit wider or closer even before the bowler starts his run up.
Even realistically too bowlers dont change their bowling mark by shifting to either one step right or left they do it during their run up which used to happen just like in DBC14.
Bowling a bit wider or closer to the stumps comes in handy only when it has a surprise element to it.
If we know before hand when the bowler has not even started his run up then this type of variation loses its surprise element and can make batting and bowling from a user perspective a little less enjoyable.
