Patch 4 Wishlist and Suggestions

Been fiddling around with different batting cameras just to see if there is a difference of being able to pick up the coloured length rings better or not, and have found there is a distinct winner! Drum roll please... And the winner is, by unanimous decision! with a clear vote count of 1 to 0... In favour of "the one, the only, the undisputed heavyweight of the dbc franchise universe ... The close batsman batting camera !!!". Ok so the only reason is because the black sightscreen is in the perfect spot while the bowler is running in, letting you distinguish the ball colour almost immediately because the contrast from the coloured length indicators to the black sightscreen is so vivid. Anyways I don't really go much on that camera, I was just wondering if it would be possible if we could change certain colours for the length indicators to our own liking so we can get that instantaneous distinction between colours?

Edit : My problem is picking up what fraction of the circle is missing or not missing, so more of a line thing, not really length im not having any dramas there. Thank you

You're right, with "batting far" camera it's difficult to identify the color especially the yellow, half yellow with the side screen is of no use, that's the only reason I moved to "batting close" camera but it's too close and sometimes difficult to view when bowled around the wicket. My favorite camera is "batting far" which is in training nets but not available in-game. Hope they include it in the future.

A small aspect I'd like to see is the option to put glasses on to the umpires, there are heaps of options for players so hopefully this could be an easy fix. Not a priority but something I noticed missing and would be handy to have added to the game as many real life umpires wear them.

I haven't checked this after patch 3 but presume the option is still missing.

Career player not able to catch ball going through his hands and body..Not sure whether its because of the skills being low as I assigned them mainly between batting and bowling and very little in fielding.Even if skills arent there altleast an animation to show that its being attempted would be nice..

I think this is also the reason when you walk out to bat/bowl in an international match it shows up with your FC/OD/T20 stats. If they did have the international formats separately then they should be able to show those stats which would be so much better

Really agree with you. This is very important on the stats front , need to separate International and domestic stats , it is how all careers numbers are listed for 1st class players and adds to the realism of the whole game.

Dumb question but have BA confirmed they are doing a Patch 4?

I think we expect at least one more patch. The issues that are still there definitely warrant a patch.

This was back when BA had to pay to submit patches for consoles, from 1 January they do not have to pay to submit patches, so we are expecting more (I hope)

Still have to pay staff to make them

Still have to pay staff to make them
But must be a price they are willingly to pay considering they knew state of the game but due to contracts constraints had to release and at $100 mark with out patches customers would speak very poorly and never buy there brand again i would assume

Staff cost is budgeted in pricing of the final product. I would be more interested in learning if they have achieved payback on the previously launched games. Has to be a win-win situation for all the stakeholders :cheers
