Okay so I am not sure how many times it needs to be explained before you get it. It is just a graphical glitch and it is well known in the beta, at BA, in the forums, bug reporting, general chat, discord, twitch, facebook, twitter, even tweaking myspace has a page dedicated to it. It is not just a bug per se (like the ball travelling in the wrong direction) but actually a glitch in the graphical system (so the animation occurs in the wrong place technically speaking), there was even a three part movie franchise, comic book series, and spin offs about it.

Here is a video of different pitch types on hard and pristine condition. Captured from a PS4 pro. Both in-game and replay included.
Boring stuff but will try and see if I can put in time to make a few more.

Maybe also include the Type of Cracks involved in your testings.

Seems like the Pristine bit sort of overrides everything else visually.

For career mode interested people I will update with my findings at higher levels , usually I play like below.

Club Cricket: Amateur
Indian Domestic: Pro Mode
County / Big Bash: Veteren
International: Pro / Veteran / Legend depends on opposition.

Right now started Club cricket , I will simulate few matches as well to fast track.

Below are my modifiers.

Has anyone noticed if any of these patch updates have improved the AC '17-18 online multiplayer? All i ever do is get disconnected and/or there's always a lot of lag/latency during the match.

The developer/publisher of Ashes Cricket messaged me "We actually use a P2P system for online multiplayer, rather than servers, so if you're getting disconnects it's possible that there's an issue with the Internet connection of whoever you're playing with."

I play this way to experience all game play modes.

In DBC17 I had shared this way of playing to experience international cricket , same I follow here in Ashes as well.

Online multiplayer on Ashes Cricket is horrendous. Worse than both DBC '14 & '17.

I rarely have problems with online on other PS4 titles, but AC takes the biscuit.
