Entry 6 - 7/10
The best of the lot for me. Everything gels well together and looks pleasing to the eye. It could have been a bit more sharper though.

Entry 6 - 8/10
Everything looks perfect, the artistic touch and that colored lighting at various parts of the ava looks great. Perfect placement of text.

2nd @Monzi - score: 5.24 (6 points)

Entry 3 - 2/10
Two different players in 1 avatar is something I personally didn't like. Also there is too much going on in that little space. The textures selection is nice but blending isn't upto the mark. Kohli looks like a zombie with those eyes!

I like what you have done there. Everything looks good. All the effects blend in nicely. If you had done just one stock image, this would've been a killer. Either Rohit or Kohli, not both.

Entry 8 - 5/10
Too bright on the eyes. I like it but something feels off in it. Text is good not great. I feel the textures aren't blend well and that is where it scores negatively.

Text looks classic. Does not look good on this ava but might look better for different ones. Stock selection is nice but the effect is overdone.

The text could have got this entry a pretty high score otherwise I like it. Sharpness on the render could have been better.

Liked the way you have used the lighting at the top, could've used a better stock there. Maybe reduce the sharpness of it?

Remove that text and I will rate it 8/10 without the text! It has undone an amazing ava. The lighting, the stock all are top class. Text size is huge too which takes away all the life in it.

I find it as good as Rohit's Ava in entry 3. Just that this one is a bit brighter than the entry 3 and also the texture used is different. Text placement is decent but needs improvement there.

6th @Manish. - score: 3.95

Entry 7 - 4/10
I love the render and the text used. But that background is a huge huge letdown. This avatar has potential but seems unfinished.

Entry 7 - 3.5/10
Nothing much to say other than needing improvements in special effects, text and some creativity.

I like the frame. The stock used could have been better. The text spoils it big time!

Not a fan of colors that you have used there. Looks creative but the stock in the middle is not really blending with the frame. Natural light on the stock is just spoiling everything. Make the stock darker and use some dark colors for the frame.

8th @NILAYSHAH60 - score: 3.04

This was a nice concept but that glow on the render makes it look dirty. The text too doesn't look good with emboss and border there. As I said, it is a nice concept but needs many touchups.

Glow around Butler and the text was not needed I think. Bg is perfect, just the color combination & text looks messy. Use a texture behind Butler to take the ava to another level

9th @mohsin7827 - score: 2.50

Entry 2 - 3/10
It is neat but there is hardly any work done on it, it seems. The lighting is dull and it takes away whatever little good there would have been with that ava.

Not much of an art there. Looks bland tbh. Maybe some additional texture on it could've made it better. A burning fire texture maybe?

RESULTS - ROUND 2 "Wallpapers"


1st @Manish. - score: 5.99 (8 points)

Entry 6 - 9/10
A near perfect wallpaper for me. The stock selection is superb and the use of the stock in the background is wonderful. Proper lighting and the overall feel of this wally is a very pleasing one. The lighting on ths bat could have been toned down a bit as it stands out and takes all my attention over there which hampers my visibility of the other parts. That and the text would have got a perfect 10. Well done!

Entry 6 - 8/10
Nice use of renders. The color/ b&w combo is nicely done. But I think the coloured UM in the center is overdone, a little. Other than that, everything looks good. A text would've made this a clear winner. But without it, it looks like something is missing.

2nd @Monzi - score: 5.90 (6 points)

Entry 1 - 9/10
This futuristic concept is mind blowing and done to perfection. I tried pretty hard but couldn't really find any flaws in it. If I have to be critical, I will only say the 'Sachin Tower' text is a bit oddly placed. But full marks for innovation and trying something out of the box! I like how nicely you have used Mumbai's skyline and the effects are done neatly. Something I would happily keep as my wallpaper. Keep it up.

Entry 1 - 8.5/10
Initially while going through the entries, I just thought "okay, looks like a Marvel movie poster. Where is the IPL theme?" Now when I look at it closely, a lot of detail is present in this Wally - MI Jersey, Sachin Tower, Reliance welcome board etc... The way the idea is executed, subtly but beautifully is fantastic. KUTGW!

3rd @Life Warrior - score: 5.15 (4 points)

Entry 2 - 9/10
I love the wally when I look at it casually but when I get critical, it starts to fade by some minor things. I like the Warne render used in the background and the overall background of the piece looks fantastic. The text 'Forever the first Royal' is unnecessary and could have been easily avoided. It takes away the attention from the main thing. The lighting overall is good but as Jos is at the center of your work, that area could have been better highlighted. The text placement of 'Rajasthan Royals' is nice and so is the text style which suits the wallpaper and brings it to life. Overall a very nice piece of work.

Entry 2 - 9/10
Very good use of textures. The text placement and position of the render is perfect. Liked the way you have used Shane Warne's image. A nice tribute. One of the best entries in this round.

4th @Mijurkat - score: 3.87 (2 points)

Entry 4 - 5/10
The colors used are good but overall if you look at it, it feels random. It doesn't go well as a standalone package. The 2 side renders are creating unnecessary commotion and the biggest distraction is the huge 'Buttler' text at the back. The differents fonts used also make it feel more random. It is as if things are just pasted there and even the background seems way too overdone. This could have been a good wallpaper if it had been more subtle and things blended in together a lot better.

Entry 4 - 7/10
I like the renders used in this one. Placement is good and text is decent. The texture used is blending well with the renders and text. I didn't like that 'Jos the boss' text there. I would not use it there or not use it at all. Overall a nice work.

5th @RUDI - score: 3.75 (1 point)

Entry 7 - 8/10
A complete package I must say. Everything carries itself together and looks really pleasing. There isn't anything which I do not like in this work but still the maximum I could give it is 8 points. It's because it feels more like a poster or a banner rather than a wallpaper.

Entry 7 - 7/10
A lot of potential there but the natural light on the render is not blending well, infact it looks a bit artificial. Other than that, the bg looks great and the things like logo and text is very good. Just the positioning of renders could've been better. Maybe use an action render like batting or bowling?

6th @RSK CREATIONS - score: 3.18

Entry 5 - 7/10
Nothing much wrong with this work visually. It is a neatly done wally. The text could have added to the points. It is a decent piece of work and I like the stock placement. It does seem a bit plain if I can say that.

Entry 5 - 4/10
Only scoring point for this entry is the render. It has been nicely cut and the finishing is also nice. The logo of CSK with that light effect looks good. And background selection is perfect. But 3 good things is not really blending togather as 1. A little bit of creativity in terms of text or the texture usage would've made it one of the best entries.

7th @NILAYSHAH60 - score: 2.13

Entry 3 - 5/10
This looks overcrowded and the effects used do not appeal too much. There is too much going on in that wally but nothing gets going together as a single piece. The renders used are nice but nothing blends in with each other. A good try for a beginner if you are one, that is. The background used is nice but the renders of 5 players used in the middle and the background do not blend at all and this work falls flat there. The colors on these stocks also don't gel well.

Entry 3 - 3.5/10
Nothing much in this entry. I can see you have tried to do something with the players' renders. Render placement is not good so is the logo and color over the players. A couple of textures, and just a selected few renders would've made it decent. Too much is too bad I guess. Nevertheless, your efforts are visible so kudos on that.

Render looks good but the one behind with the reduced opacity is not going well. I suggest reduce the opacity of it little more just to balance the sharp skin tone. Text could be better. The texture and other effect are perfect.

This one would've been the best had you used a better render there. I don't know if you worked/edited that render or its just the actual render, looks a bit blurry. The BG is fantastic and so is the text.

I think the sharpness and saturation is overdone. There are floodlight in the stadium that is distracting but other than that, pretty decent siggy.

A lot of things going on in there. Good amount of detail and textures used. Would've rated it 10 if the Mumbai text wasn't split. For me, that split created a distraction in the center.A

I really like it. The God of Cricket animation with tricolor detail is amazing! The back image shots could have been better. Keep it up.

Best entry. The animated siggy itself is challenging but incorporating 4 different Sachin clips into one and syncing it to run along with other animation is outstanding.
