In a game where batting is much easier than bowling and people complain that they couldn't score at 15 rpo I think the bowlers should be given more leeway. He's bowling at the stumps or just outside off.

I really struggle with batting for some reason and just dream of some of the shots you are suggesting which either proves that I have lag problems or I am crap.

Also with bowling I find it hard to combat someone who is really timing everything well...where do you place the ball to counter somebody hitting everything for six? (Except right up their ars* which is where I would like to put it, proverbialy speaking of course, as I have many sexual fetishes, none of them as yet including the use of a cricket ball.)

Its not a question of how to put him away for runs , its just that he doesn't bowl anything different. Makes the game boring like hell. Winning is not everything (and i win a lot) , its more important to have fun. Be original , play a thinking game, use real life tactics ....... but no , he wnts to bowl the same thing in the same place. Well good luck to him , players like this bore me.

May be he bored you, but your intentional moving of bowling cursor till the last second annoys me(may be others too).

For others wondering why, this moving till last second is the way how he(and others) get a yorker bowled from what looked like a bouncer.

Again I've got no problem with moving the cursor at the last second. The problem comes when the connection is lagging and you think you're playing a length ball which suddenly turns into a yorker.
I agree with you about variety but as far as I'm concerned most tactics are fine for bowling and the only one I really have an issue with is wideline. The game is geared towards unrealistic batting runrates so why shouldn't the bowler get the chance to even things up?

Again I've got no problem with moving the cursor at the last second. The problem comes when the connection is lagging and you think you're playing a length ball which suddenly turns into a yorker.

The whole issue is about that only. Nobody has a problem with cursor movement unless it re-appears(due to lag).

SAD for you because almost everybody moves the cursor a bit and very few ball leg cutters outside the off stump again and again. also the major point in my post was that if there had been no balling lag i might have still won.i was gracious enough to finish the match despite my balling lag and he was not.

Just had a nice and fairly competitive game with dutchad. GG dutchad.

It was England(dutchad) vs India(me). He won the toss and chose to bat. Openers did their job perfectly for him but English middle order played typically like themselves and didn't quite compliment the scoring rate of the top order. Talking of Indian bowling, part time spinner Yusuf Pathan did fairly well to support the 4 man pace attack. Still, by the end of 20 overs England had put a fairly competitive score and with 5 pacers in the team the game was bound to be exciting.

Indian opener didn't got to a flying start exactly. Instead, they took their time to settle down. But all the hard work was done by when both the openers had a mix-up and Sehwag got run out. In came Sachin and tried to steady the ship but soon Gambhir departed and England was all over the Indian line-up. But, Dhoni sent Yusuf up the order to get RRR in control and what a decision that proved to be. Yusuf came all guns blazing and removed all the pressure from Tendulkar at other end who himself enjoyed hitting big shots then on. By the end of 14 overs, India was fairly in control and though they lost 2 more wickets, they safely reached the target with captain Dhoni hitting a single to finish the match with 9 balls remaining.

So, all in all despite some lag, we had a good game of cricket which is quite hard to get online in this game. I would say it was quite realistic too(India beating England ).

Just had a game with a right loser.Cannot remember his name but he made 58 from five overs.Anyway i am 54 for 3 with 2 balls left when i launch the ball over the ropes for six,before the ball lands i get a lost connection to player message.::
What is the point of playing online,i give up.
