Well, two things to say here:

Scenario: While playing my career mode(PRO); while playing a Sheffield Shield match (Test Match) against NSW, I've scored 223 and 70% of my score were made using flat bat and scoop shots to the third-man and Deep backward point region. to be specific, playing aggressive lofted shots on the back foot.

1. Fielding doesn't change a bit by pushing a man deep or third man (occasionally seen in ODI's and T20's). they continued swapping a Fly slip and gully but never pushed a man back. idk but is it normal? I don't call it a bug but yes! it's damn un-realistic!
2. While I was on 73*, we're on comfortable lead of 440 Runs and 136.2 over left to be bowled. It was surprising to see before I got out at 223, our captain had shown no intension to declare with 700+ runs as lead. once I got out, the next man faced one ball before 4th innings started simulating. does that mean, captain won't declare until the user gets out? happens to me twice now! if that so, then it's annoying.

I got a bug since last 2 updates.
Every time, when i first start steam, launch DBC and try to play a casual or online (sometimes) this happens.

When i force close (Alt+F4) and relaunch , it then works or i have to do relaunch for a couple more times.
i'm on latest update 1.20.1

Can't tell much from the video - was your PC's hard drive light blinking at all, indicating it was trying to load something?

One of the things that happens after you force close would be modding being disabled the next time you load, so perhaps try renaming the textures folder to something else and then seeing if the game loads first try.

this happens to be bit too often sine 1.20.0 update. didnt bother mentioning coz it doesnt cause major gameplay problems as i could Ctrl+alt+del and go to task manager and force the game to end. once restarting though it doesnt mention about a safe mode so i guess it still using my texture folder and frankly all the bats and uniforms i have downloaded are still there when i start the game.

Nope i don't think loading mod textures was the problem here, because i tried to play without textures folder, still same result(working after a force close and launch).
My PC has more than enough juice to play this in 1080p @60fps with highest quality with all the mods, as i was playing since an year almost.
Problem is something else.

EDIT : And now i can confirm i can't connect to any player online,tried with 12 players, and no Internet is not the issue here, as these are my speed test results.

Believe me, i've played smoother online games in 512 kbps connection.
Need Help, this has been the case for almost since the last update.

Happens to me 4 times now!

I was playing Career mode (PRO). Was batting on 219* and team score reaches 557. Pressed "Y" to simulate to career player and BANG!!! all of a sudden my game freezes and crashed. why it happens?

Even I've noticed occasionally, that while simulating games, teams often declares after reaching 550-560 mark. I believe this something to be fixed. @MattW and @HBK619 , please look for any fix this instance............... Thank you!!

NOTE: This 550+ runs mark declaration is a pre-existing bug. NOT a new one. But the Game crash seems new.

Hey wonderful folk at Big Ant...

...not to put a dampener on your Monday morning, but had a fair amount of trouble connecting for the online experience tonight with a multiple few players around the world. I also had the game crash completely twice and freeze most, if not all of the time during connection or just slightly after connection. I did the usual reset options but that didn't seem to fix anything... was able to get a couple of stable connections later in the evening with Matt eventually.... I dunno, I highly doubt it's a game-related bug but it was the first time I had experienced both the loading scoreboard screen freeze (that's been mentioned in another thread a few times) as well the game totally crashing on me.

Not sure if there's much, if anything, you can do with that information but reading around, does seem to be a little more unstable than usual for a few people. Let me know if you want me to log anything for you.

This happened to me as well around 3 times in last few times I played.

For me it freezes & game has the sound(of crowd) in background still active. I thought it was a problem in my end with refresh rate of my display since I connected my cpu to a TV custom scaling the display, but still not sure on what causes it.

I get the nagging feeling that whatever you guys are picking up now , is too late , since Patch 3 seems to have been submitted already .

So in all probability these are gonna get ported over to the consoles .

If people can save off and send me their career save files in a point of the match right before it happens (even if that means saving off a copy each time you go to save and exit) - it would help in figuring out what is happening.

We need "Save game", apart from save and exit. This will help us not to loose match progress in case of any issues... Should i exit when i want to save? why on earth i should do that, i will save and keep on playing and save again!!!
