Two in two for Schumacher and Ferrari

Schumacher_2000_Brazil_04.jpg

New circuit, new continent and no change to Michael Schumacher's winning ways as he puts in a second commanding performance of the season. The Brazilian Grand Prix was another highly attritional race as only eight drivers managed to reach the finish line, and only three of them on the lead lap. Despite the attrition, there was only one change to the podium that we saw in Australia: this time it was Irvine, not Herbert, who took the podium for Williams. He did so by holding off a full-frontal assault on his position by Hakkinen's McLaren, which was eventually kept in third place by just a quarter of a second.

Among those who had dropped back from the lead lap were Mark Webber (producing an unexpectedly good display in just his second Grand Prix), Olivier Panis, and BAR's Alex Zanardi. David Coulthard and Stephane Sarrazin also finished, but neither the Jordan, nor the Minardi was good enough to make it into the points. Neither Nick Heidfeld, nor Max Wilson made it to the end of the race, although Heidfeld had been running up around the points before his car suffered a failure.

The high rate of attrition that we've seen so far this season has many experts scratching their heads, but we are assured that the teams are working very hard to rectify any issues that have been exposed in these early rounds.

Updated standings, and it's bad news for Arrows at this early stage.

Doesn't look so good for us so far. We have to get a victory sooner rather than later.

That's is sad and too bad. Nick was in for points and the car messed up. This point would have gave us the confidence and boost we need.
We are in a very bad position right now. Last in the ranking , No Points yet and already in debt. We gotta look for a way out.[DOUBLEPOST=1460387843][/DOUBLEPOST]@The Author Can we upgrade our engine ?

Irvine performs. We will be looking for the day when both our drivers finish the race.

I was going to post this long post explaining why you could but it would be a really bad idea, but I'll simplify it.

If you cancel your Ferrari customer engine, you'll get back 1,200,000 of the 1,500,000 that you spent. There are only a few engines still available:
  • Ford could supply your team with engines; this would cost you 1,000,000
  • Mercedes could supply another team; this would cost you 4,000,000
  • Peugeot could supply your team; this would cost you 1,000,000
The other four suppliers (BMW, Ferrari works, Honda and Supertec) are all maxed out already.

Sorry for saying engine.:facepalm
I meant chassis development.
