That maybe the case. The product I tried ordering with fake details hardly costed around 500INR, I think.

In North America you can cancel the order as long as it hasn't been dispatched, else you will be charged and will need to go through the hassle of returning the product and getting the refund. That hassle is what stops people from ordering willy nilly. That and the fear of disclosing your financial/credit card info with all and sundry.

Hahaha, In India system is little different. You can cancel an order as long as you have not paid for it. Even if delivery guy has come all the way up to your door, you can still say no and return him.

Caved in and broke my no pre-orders rule and pre-ordered the PS3 version from Mighty Ape. Had $10 credit (taking it down to $89NZ) on there to use up by the end of the month so decided it wasn't worth waiting the extra 2 weeks or so (well, whenever it releases in the UK plus about a week to ship to NZ) to save $15 on nzgameshop. My partner should be working all weekend which means house to myself to get acquainted with the game.

First and last time I pre-ordered a game was Ashes for PS3 hence not wanting to do it again.

No. Just 3 online retailers (Amaon, Ebay and Flipkart). I know 2 local sellers who will have the game on stock. They are my back up plan if all 3 online retailers fearsome tweak up.

Yes I did the same thing,canceled my previous order and re-ordered a new copy
