That should not dissuade you from including a few indian seamers. They are as close as fast bowler comes to being a spinner.

As a batsman Dravid is incredible. As a number 3, he's nothing special.

I wanted to fit him and Laxman both in somewhere because I liked them both since I started watching cricket, it's not about the world Test XI, they are the players I liked.

Middle Order: Lara, Tendulkar, Kallis/Ponting/Dravid/Sangakkara/Inzamam/Yousuf/S.Waugh/VVS Laxman (If I were to choose one of these, I'd go with Inzamam)

All-Rounder: Cairns/Flintoff

Keeper: Gilchrist

Bowlers: Akram, Warne, Ambrose, Murali

The no.5 batting slot has many contenders.. Although VVS Laxman isn't the one with the best average, he is probably best suited to no.5 so I also include him..

Just a few favs off the top of my head

Chris Gayle - Easily the coolest cricketer to pick up a bat and if he were to be any more relaxed he'd be unconscious. Love everything about him.

Stephen Fleming - What he achieved for NZ cricket was outstanding and his personal stats too were of something special. Loved his unselfish attitude.

Shane Bond - Loved how he would always be all over the Aussies, especially Ponting and for a NZ fan it doesn't get any better than that.

Chris Cairns - Boy he could hit a ball.

Lance Klusener - A true character and a born match winner, whether it was with bat or ball or both.
