Its the best he has seen dude. It doesn't mean anything. He isn't building a South Africa all time XI.
There is plenty enough bowling in that lineup to win matches.

Akhtar over Waqar Younis?

As i said i started watching cricket during the 1997 Ashes. Waqar peak was from 89-94/95, so obviously i wouldn't have seen the best of him in live. If you saw the best of Waqar you can pick him in your side however..

Inversely i have basically seen almost all the best of Akthar in tests live.

Indeed. Klusener & Kallis @ their peaks with the ball where superb in tests, so you basically have a lethal 5-man pace attack.

Well as an Aussie fan it's hard because since 1988 when I first started watching there's been so many awesome players, but I settled on this XI:

1 Justin Langer
2 Matthew Hayden
3 Ricky Ponting
4 Damien Martyn
5 Steve Waugh
6 Michael Clarke
7 Adam Gilchrist (wk)
8 Shane Warne
9 Jason Gillespie
10 Stuart Clark
11 Glenn McGrath

And because I feel so bad about leaving some legends out...a second XI:
1 Simon Katich
2 Mark Taylor
3 David Boon
4 Mark Waugh
5 Michael Hussey
6 Allan Border
7 Ian Healy (wk)
8 Brett Lee
9 Craig McDermott
10 Stuart MacGill
11 Bruce Reid/Merv Hughes

Here is what my best of Pakistan XI:
1.Saeed Anwar
2.Aamir Sohail
3.Younis Khan
4.Inzimam Ul Haque
5.Javed Miandad
6.Imran Khan
7.Rashid Latif
8.Wasim Akram
9.Abdul Qader
10.Waqar Younis
11.Shoaib Akhter

12th Man Saqlain Mushtaq.

Will you look at that pace attack:eek: . All the bowlers can hit 150 KPH and swing the ball (old or new) both ways :hpraise. I wouldn't want to batsman against these champs.
I wish Pakistan will have a team as strong as this, in future.

Anil Kumble

Have only seen this generation of cricketers barring short clips and videos of legends like Gavaskar. So pretty unconventional, run of the mill team.

You've never seen Moyo?

I have seen him a lot Mark. He has a tremendous average but I have never seen him put on a match winning innings under pressure. He is a great player but he is not gritty. I would rather a have a fighter like Miandad or Inzimam in my side.
