Planetcricket FC (FM 2006)

Well Stevo you would be suprised. When i re-did the matches most of the same players played well. You got ratings of 10-9, which is only 1 off the previous results!
The big difference was Hassan Tahir who had ratings of 10-10 and scored 4 goals!

Hassan you wanted results of the new inter-club games. I don't have any screenshots for it or any written record so i will just go off the top of my head:
Game 1:
A Team (1) def. B Team (0)
Pretty close game, much closer than the previous result. Ramesh Balaji saved 6 on target shots to shut out B Team. Steve O and Jack Teague again were brilliant on the wings, running with the ball and taking players on.
Man of the match though was Hassan Tahir who was trouble for the defence all day and scored a well placed goal for his efforts.

A Team (5) def. B Team (2)
A high scoring match, mainly because the defence was buggered from the last game. Hassan Tahir scored a hat-trick and Briggs and Symonds both bagged one a piece for the A team. The B team were never really in the match and scored both of their goals from breakaways. Gold 639 got 1 and Bilal Tahir got 1.
Man of the match was Hassan Tahir again.

I'll have the results of our next couple of friendlies for both side by Friday Night. (Australian).

Hassan the smallest i have been able to compress the DB to is 65mb. :(
So im sorry but it looks like there is no chance. You can always waste an afternoon like me and make it on the editor!!, lol. Thats probably your last option, sorry mate.

and Maxkarter, no worries mate, i should have explained that in the first place!, looking back you would have been wondering what the hell i was saying!

I got the Ajax friendly in this afternoon.

GAME DATE: 22nd Of July, 2005
The money comming into the game was all for Ajax. Ajax at home against little known Planetcricket FC, it is expected to be a training run for Ajax.
Ajax suprisingly went in with almost a full strength side. Planetcricket were without Zohaib Ahmed and Chesney Lewis, both recovering from broken ribs.

Line-Ups:
firstslineupvsajax4ux.jpg

The game was, as expected, totally dominated by Ajax.
To their credit the Cricketers held in there and tried hard, still managing to force the Ajax keeper into a few hard saves.
Steve Pienaar was dangerous on the wing as was Steve O for Planetcricket, it was a battle between the two all day.
The first half didn't manage to see any goals, mainly due to some fantastic defending and keeping from Planecricket. Some great last ditch saves from Macdonald and Gupta and good saves from Balaji.
The second half saw Rogers come into the game for Balaji. Ajax made some changes, including brining on young Ryan Babel. babel was quick to make an impact, scoring a goal in the 74th minute.
Planetcricket struck back quite quickly with Steve O scoring a header from close range from Abhas Gupta's long range pass.
Planetcricket then made some changes with Steve O, Jack Teague, Tahir Hassan and Shaun Briggs off for a rest.
The rest of the game continued to be dominated by Ajax, who scored another goal in the 85th minute, and rightfully deserved it.

Positives for Planetcricket: Balaji's keeping and Steve O's continued good form.
Negatives for Planetcricket: Hassan Tahir had a shocker and the captain failed to make an impact.

Will post back tomorrow, hopefully with the remaining first team friendly and the 2 reserves friendlies. :)

Looking good mate, 2-1 against Ajax is a very good result!

That was a brilliant performance against a strong oppostition. We do indeed have chances of finishing in top 10.

Bit unfortunate that we couldn't hold out for a draw.

I still suck. This is so unrealistic. I am good in soccer.

dont worry its only a game and you will get better eventually...

good game btw... good result for us... good to see me in form....

btw radaga can u email the details to me so i can make the team

Good game against a quality oppostion! We need to hold on to our players, especially Steve O! It seems he will be our backbone this season, hopefully he doesnt get injured and we could have a good season and make it to the play-off's!

What happened? I was injured and Chez was supposed to fill up, but now he is injured!
