Freddie Klokker is a hard-hitting top-order wicketkeeper-batsman who made his debut for Denmark as a teenager and has remained in the side since. He first played at the 2001 ICC Trophy, and at the 2005 event he carried his bat for a career-best 138 not out against USA. After four years on the MCC groundstaff - longer than usual but Clive Radley, the head coach, admitted he was "a bloody good bloke to have around" -, in 2006 he made 40 in his only Championship appearance for Warwickshire, and in 2007 he moved to Derbyshire where he hit 100 not out on his debut at Cambridge.
