I ranked teams differently in the most recent tournament but i think ive found a more accurate way but it requires a Reporters Summary of your top team on GFI.

worthless - 1
abysmal - 2
woeful - 3
feeble - 4
mediocre - 5
competent - 6
respectable - 7
proficient - 8
strong - 9
superb - 10
etc...

Bat Stats Rating = (Top Order x 3) + (Middle Order x 4) + (Lower Order x 4) + (Seam Bowling x # of seamers) + (Spin Bowling x # of spinners) + (Fielding).

So mine would be

The Southern Sharks
Top Order: proficient (8 x 3 = 24)
Middle Order: mediocre (5 x 4 = 20)
Lower Order: abysmal (2 x 4 = 8)
Seam Bowling: mediocre (5 x 4 = 20)
Spin Bowling: strong (9 x 1 = 9)
Fielding: feeble (4)

So my total is 24 + 20 + 8 + 20 + 9 + 4 = 85

I would like to rank many teams to see how accurate both methods are

Not convinced this is going to be particularly accurate to be honest, because reporters summaries aren't too accurate. You can get a higher score by fiddling your batting order round, and it'll be distorted by one-man teams.
