what should be the size of the beta file?

Hi Ross,
Are the in game default original players created from the same engine, or have you used other face mapping techniques for them?
That's one of the things we're working on - it is approx 300 meg (so pretty big).
----------
All players have been created using the Cricket Academy. This is the first game we have made that has a player editor good enough to do that.
Hi Ross,
Don't know if this question has come up, but will we be able to share teams cross-platform? Just wondering as the beta is coming to PC, will we be able to download these PC teams to console when the game is released or do we have to wait for PS3/360 teams to be created?

I think it was mentioned somewhere that we cant. Am not sure though.
They are ready to go, as pretty much is the entire game, however we are going to just release the Cricket Academy player team creator/player editor/sharing at this stage. Without the game the rest of the options are not that useful (apart from you all knowing what we're up too!)
We will release updates to the Cricket Academy as we approach launch of the game.
In terms of platform support - stay tuned for announcements![]()

Ross, would that mean if we play online (say on PS3) we will need to download a 300 MB file everytime before the match starts in case you, or your opponent has made changes to the players (or maybe added custom players to the team)?
There is no "download" in the traditional sense as such when you play someone else online. We certainly transfer the players of their team to your machine but that is just a few kilobytes (K).
We already do this successfully with our prior games and there is no delay in the start of play.
Thanks Ross. A few KBs shouldn't be an issue and got scared hearing about the 300 MB file![]()
So is today the day we get our hands on cricket academy
