hmm, i'm not sure. It's either Zeko or Jeh-ko.

:lol It may not convince you, but I checked Serbo-Croatian pronunciation on Wikipedia. Dzeko is Bosnian, and Bosnian is just another name for Serbo-Croatian. He has an accent - like a little 'v' - over the 'z' in his name. That causes it to be pronounced the way I thought. (Without the accent it would be just like 'dz' in English)

Check "Serbo-Croatian" on Wikipedia and search for "voiced postalveolar affricate". :lol

Then, next time you hear the commentator saying 'Zeko', you can tweet in and correct him! :D

haha, yeah. And no, I always said it like that to start with but when I asked people, they said Zeko mostly.

In my current season, Tim McIntosh has played 3 matches, and batted in 5 innings. In these 5 innings he has scored 426 runs, with 3 centuries, from 1274 balls. This is a strike rate of 33.45. I'd say that strike rate is pretty realistic :p

What isn't realistic though is Chris Martin scoring 16* against South Africa though. That really boosted his average, which is now at 2.79.

god, they must have been bowling their batsman, sorry should I say their keeper. How many dropped catches? :p

John Dobson - Is Back Again

Player Profile:

Full Name: John Dobson
DOB: 24/08/1990 (23)
Player Role: Top/Middle Order batsman, Part Time Bowler
Major Teams: Durham, England
Salary: 24,500
Description: Aggressive batsman, strong leg side preference

Well he finally got his test callup although only played 1 test in the season scoring 46 and 15* to have a current test average of 61. He however was in the squad for a fair part of the season. Shows he is a stunning FC player though as he scored 1292 runs @ 86.13 in the 13 FC matches he played during the season (including the Test), although he didn't get off to the best start to the season and only the great back end of the end of the season when he scored (most recent first) 357*, 6*, 204, 50, 55 and 68 boosted up that average. 26 wickets @ 25.08 isn't too bad as well. Again his OD season wasn't that great as he only scored 165 runs @ 23.57 although took 9 wickets @ 33.89 in 9 matches.

And a good off-season as well playing another 6 tests and 3 ODI's so now in 7 tests, he has scored 725 runs @ 72.5 with 2 centuries and 4 fifties and in ODI cricket, he's had 2 NO's so he has 50 runs @ 50, a HS of 30*.

The salary now is a lot more as his contract ran out so I offered him a 3 year contract worth I think it was about $60,000.

Still not alot considering his performances. Expecting an England contract?

Great innings from Mark Richardson V2

Kane Williamson just retired in my game aged 30 >.< He was on track to breaking a whole heap of NZ records too. After 76 tests he had like 6500 runs, average 45ish and averaged 44 in ODIs with a similar average. Really annoying, I didn't expect him to retire so I hadn't taken a screenshot of him.

Todd Astle also retired and I didn't get a screenshot of his record. He had 130 ODI wickets at 28 which was pretty amazing really.

Wow, 30's very early, most quality players play until a minimum of about 33/34 these days, and some even go onto 37/38.
