Player Swap Draft

Round 8

Initial Draw

@Disharies : :saf: :ar: Nicky Boje (Medium)
Really handy player to have, can contribute with both bat and ball. Adds a lot of flexibility to this team

@mohsin7827 : :nz: :ar: Jeremy Coney (Medium)
A really underappreciated player, Coney was the main reason NZ got far in the 1979 WC. Also a candidate for captaincy, but this team already has a lot of options therie

@Till Valhalla : :ind: :ar: Yuvraj Singh (Good)
The third draw in a row who can contribute with both bat and ball, Yuvraj instantly improves this team significantly. Can he keep him though?

@pillowprocter : :saf: :bat: Mark Rushmere (Bad)
Rushmere was much better than what the "Bad" tag might indicate. Was very unlucky to not play more international cricket.

@ddrap14 : :pak: :bwl: Wasim Akram (Good) [Protected :x:]
Obvious call to protect here, Akram is easily one of the most influential bowlers to have played the game, and no one has really come close to replacing him since.

@Neo 7 : :ind: :bwl: Jayant Yadav (Bad)
Been around for a long time, but Jayant has not done too much to hold a spot in the national team. Serviceable backup though, and not the worst you can get

@ahmedleo414 : :aus: :ar: Cameron White (Medium)
One of the players who was much better than what his numbers might suggest, White started off as a dual role player but gradually became a very effective middle order hitter.

@CerealKiller : :can: :bat: Usman Limbada (Bad)
The worst pull in this round, Limbada was quite effective at age group level but struggled to make the transition to professional cricket, let alone international cricket

@RUDI : :aus: :bat: Ricky Ponting (Good)
One of the greatest in this format, RUDI's batting would look much better with him but having used his protect earlier, he's in danger of being swapped

@Verified Enigma : :wi: :ar: Jason Holder (Medium)
Holder hasnt been at his best in ODIs but his lower order hitting and 10 solid overs every match makes him a pretty handy asset in any team

Round 9

Initial Draw

@Disharies : :wi: :bat: Jermaine Blackwood (Bad)
Despite obviously having the talent to succeed at international level, Blackwood hasnt made much of a mark in ODIs and probably wont in the future too

@mohsin7827 : :wi: :ar: Roger Harper (Medium)
A very underrated ODI cricketer, Harper is handy in all 3 aspects of the game. A really handy player to have for any team

@Till Valhalla : :pak: :wk: Zulqarnain Haider (Bad)
Haider was never going to light the cricketing scene on fire with his batting but he was a solid enough keeper. Just doesn't work in modern teams

@pillowprocter : :aus: :wk: Matthew Wade (Medium)
His numbers may not look great, but Wade did his role well around a decade; batting lower down the order and scoring some handy runs at a quick rate

@ddrap14 : :saf: :bwl: Allan Donald (Good)
A SR of 31 over a 162 game period is incredible; the type of bowler who can really carry a bowling attack on his back which is handy for this draft

@Neo 7 : :nz: :bat: Ross Taylor (Good)
Ross Taylor went under the radar for almost his entire career, only during the end did everyone realise his value. Has batted everywhere over his career too.

@ahmedleo414 : :eng: :bat: Graham Thorpe (Medium)
Thorpe was a far better ODI cricketer than he gets credit for, if he played in a later era he would undoubtably have been one of the best English LOI cricketers.

@CerealKiller : :pak: :bwl: Wahab Riaz (Medium)
Despite a very unpredictable career, Riaz had many highs especially his world cup performances. A "streets wont forget" type player.

@RUDI : :wi: :ar: Viv Richards (Good)
Richards has the best argument for being the GOAT of ODI cricket and for good reason too, no batsman has ever been as far ahead of his time and he was a much better bowler than people realise

@Verified Enigma : :zim: :bwl: Adam Huckle (Bad)
Huckle was a serviceable FC bowler but his ODI record is pretty shocking. Not objectively terrible but never really made an impact in ODI cricket

Noice swap ...

@Till Valhalla : :pak: :wk: Zulqarnain Haider (Bad)

Unlucky Dip Player 11
Zulqarnain Zaidi

I assume Bevab meant Zaidi, correct me mate if you meant Haider. Either way, a bog average Pakistani keeper.

Nominated by: @Bevab
Received by: @Neo 7

At first , I thought he's my blud ... :p:p
