Round 6 : Bowlers

Initial Draw

@Disharies : :wi: :bwl: Jayden Seales (Bad)
Harsh to place a 21 year old with 13 List A games as "Bad" but Seales hasn't quite delivered yet in ODIs. Has the talent to move up a tier or two by the end of his career

@mohsin7827 : :sri: :bwl: Jayantha Silva (Bad)
Silva was a good test bowler, in hindsight deserved to play more than he did but he did play only 7 List A games and just the one ODI. Definitely amongst the best players in this tier

@Till Valhalla : :nz: :bwl: Murphy Su'a (Bad)
Would likely have been lost in obscurity in any other team but the NZ team in the 90s did not have many options. More known for his temper than his cricket.

@pillowprocter : :saf: :bwl: Imran Tahir (Good)
Tahir really doesn't get enough credit for his performance in ODIs, he had ATG numbers in a batting friendly era. Pretty sad that he started relatively late, with a longer career his stats would be even better

@ddrap14 : :wi: :bwl: Ian Bradshaw (Medium)
A pretty standard bowler, Bradshaw probably did not have the skills to become an elite player but was a very useful role player and also had a clutch performance to win WI the Champions Trophy in 2004

@Neo 7 : :eng: :bwl: Steven Finn (Medium)
Many cricket fans would probably have expected Finn to have a much better record than he ended up with after 2012. Really sad overall situation, injuries and bad mental health took a really big toll on him

@ahmedleo414 : :nz: :bwl: Trent Boult (Good)
Boult held the #1 ODI bowling ranking for a while, and deservedly so. His numbers do no look like they belong to a bowler in this era at all and it would be very sad if he never played an ODI again.

@CerealKiller : :wi: :bwl: Ravi Rampaul (Medium)
Rampaul had an international career that spanned almost two decades but was very frequently in and out of the team. One of the players that could have done much more but was solid regardless

@RUDI : :eng: :bwl: Phil DeFreitas (Medium)
DeFreitas had a long and successful county career and was arguably harshly dropped too many times in international cricket. 115 wickets is still pretty commendable though

@Verified Enigma : :pak: :bwl: Shoaib Akhtar (Good) [Protected :x:]
A legendary presence on a cricket field, every team could do with a player like him. Particularly brutal in ODIs, a SR of 31 is ridiculous for a 160 game career. Smart call to protect

Round 7

Initial Draw

@Disharies : :ind: :ar: Ravindra Jadeja (Medium)
Probably the best medium tier player drafted so far, Jadeja has been an important player for India for the last 15 years without really turning into an elite ODI player. Was the #1 ODI bowler at one point too

@mohsin7827 : :uga: :bwl: John Nagenda (Bad)
As obscure a player as you can get, the only List A match Nagenda played was an ODI for East Africa vs New Zealand in 1975. Later became a very influential writer

@Till Valhalla : :aus: :bwl: Glenn McGrath (Good) [Protected :x:]
The type of player you would save your protect for, McGrath somehow took 381 wickets in 250 overs while going at under 4rpo. Makes TV's bowling look much stronger

@pillowprocter : :sri: :wk: Kumar Sangakkara (Good) [Protected :x:]
The second highest run scorer in ODIs of all time, and also completely dominated in World Cups. Retired on a high too, his numbers could have been even better had he kept going

@ddrap14 : :wi: :bat: Darren Bravo (Medium)
Had all the talent to become one of the best batsmen of his generation but never really got there. Still a decent career though, and 3000 runs in a sub par WI team is pretty commendable

@Neo 7 : :wi: :ar: Darren Sammy (Medium)
A jack of all trades type player, Sammy was a decent contributor with the bat, ball and in the field but was too inconsistent to hold down a spot with just one. Good captaincy option too

@ahmedleo414 : :sri: :bwl: Chaminda Vaas (Good)
Vaas really doesnt get the credit he's due in ODIs, 400 wickets while carrying the Sri Lankan pace attack for his entire career is incredible. Offers some handy lower order batting too

@CerealKiller : :ind: :bat: Sachin Tendulkar (Good)
18k ODI runs is unbelievable, no one even stands a chance of breaking that. Sachin's performances in the 90s were particularly legendary, carrying the national team at such a young age while having one of the best SRs in the world.

@RUDI : :ken: :wk: Sandeep Gupta (Bad)
121 runs in 10 games is really not ideal, but Gupta was a serviceable keeper for Kenya at the time. Really nowhere near the level of international cricket though.

@Verified Enigma : :sri: :wk: Sunil Jayasinghe (Bad)
Jayasinghe was a legendary figure in the Sri Lankan club system, and also was part of the 1979 WC squad. Unfortunately did not get to play much international cricket because of his era.
